Musical Theatre Village — Attraction in Irvine

This small but extraordinary playhouse offers some of the best musicals, always perfect for the entire family. One of its most terrific qualities is the undeniable enthusiasm and love for acting that the non professional cast display in every performance. A few of them already posses the panache and charm many professional players lack. Had no idea this cozy little theater was so close to home! It's on the small side - both stage and seating - but the seats are comfortable and there's no need for microphones. Acoustics are great and there are no bad seats. Thoroughly enjoyed myself here. The company puts on 5 or 6 shows a year, with matinees on Saturdays. We had never been here before and came to see "Into the Woods." We came on the "wrong" night and ended up seeing the "other" cast but decided to stay anyway. Adorable little theatre!
