BEWARE of this restaurant! Today I went there and ordered 1 tandoori paneer burrito and the lady (cashier) accepting order repeated after taking my order " 1 Tandoori CHICKEN burrito. I immediately corrected her :NO NO NO NO I want 1 tandoori paneer burrito and make sure it is only vegetarian as I have SEVERE ALLERGIES from meat products."She assured me and showed me the bill that it is going to be vegetarian paneer tandoori burrito. I believed her and after eating half of the burrito, I realized that she gave me CHICKEN burrito. I became very scared as I have severe allergies from meat products. I went back to them and complained about it and that lady and a guy at cash counter were TOTALLY UNAPOLOGETIC about what they did. When I tried to discuss it with other customers to give them a headsup and ask them for help, that lady and guy said to me: " DO NOT DISTURB OTHER CUSTOMERS AND DON'T CREATE A SCENE. Take your money($16, price that I paid for burrito) back and go. I am scared if I collapse or have some health issues, who will take care of me as my family is not around at the moment. I have attached the pics of my order receipt which says Tandoori paneer burrito( vegetarian) and the aluminium foil on roll which has lable "paneer" which is a vegeatrian product and a third pic which shows chicken inside my burrito. I never had chicken earlier so I showed it to multiple customers that were present in theat restaurant and they all said it is chicken. I am writing this long negative review not only because I am afraid about my health but also to give A HEADSUP TO ALL THE EXISTING AS WELL AS NEW CUSTOMERS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY/LOVED ONES HAVE ANY ALLERGIES because the workers and/or owners here really don't care about you or...
Read moreOne of the best Indian fast food restaurant! You’ll meet the owner, Nathan at the counter and his son is the chef. His daughter designed the place. It’s a lovely family affair and you can taste the love in their food.
Traditional food with modern twist on ordering. You can “build it” by choosing burrito, crunch wrap, parathadilla (quesadilla) or grilled sandwich, then pick your protein, and filling (curry, korma, etc). There are traditional curry bowls like tikka masala, street bites like samosas, masala stir fry rice, Mac and cheese, house salad.
We ordered:
-Build it: I got a butter chicken burrito. It’s a regular tortilla filled with cheese, tomatoes, onion, rice, lettuce, chicken masala. I liked that the tortilla was thin to be able to taste the filling. It was delicious. It was so big that I split 3 meals out of it.
-chicken tikka masala curry bowl: Finally a place the loves up to their spice level. We asked for level hot and it was legit hot! Very flavorful with lots of spice. Came with Paratha which is similar to naan but thinner and made with a mix of white and brown flour.
-Popadams- crispy lentil crackers
-samosas: 3 pieces, fresh, stuffed with masala potato and pea. Came with tamarind chutney. We also bought cilantro chutney.
We enjoyed everything we tasted. A second location will be opening in Fullerton. Catering options.
Plenty of parking in this lot. It’s next door to...
