
I made reservations months in advance for the tea room to celebrate my daughter’s birthmonth and a special event for my wife here. In the resy reservation it asked what the occasion is for and i noted these events. When arriving not once did anybody acknowledge this. What is the point in asking what the event is for in the reservation when nothing special is done. No cake or anything special for the bday girl. The preset menu was a 1 star. Nobody finished anything. My kids 7 and 8 only ate 1 macaron and they asked why it was so hard. All the food looked great but tasted old. Its like they had these preset trays ready to go and just brought it out. Our reservation was at 330 pm and the food tasted like it was done in the morning and brought out when u get there. Definitely not fresh. The food in the outside portion of the cafe looked 100% better but when i inquired about it there was an extra charge. The service was poor for such an expensive experience. $300 for a party of 4 and we had to wave down the waitress everytime we needed something. My daughters napkin dropped on floor and no one gave her another one. Not once did anyone come by to refill drinks or ask us how things are and if we needed anything. They just took our drink order brought out food trays and drinks and that was it. For such an upscale experience the service was so poor. Workers just behind the alcoholic bar tidying up when no one in the place was even drinking alcohol. I blame this on management as the workers didnt seem to care to make this event a memorable one for the customers. The place automatically adds 18% gratuity so workers dont care to go above and beyond for better service. I just want to add that my family loves hello kitty. We been to hello kitty land in japan and the experience they offer there is a 1000% better. We would come there everytime we visit japan again. This experience here is a one and done. Would never come back to the tea room again and definitely not recommed. You can have a better experience and food from ordering from the outside cafe and sitting on the lawn to eat. It will save you $100s and at least everyone can eat what they like. The food outside is probably more fresh as its constantly being bought. My kids would have had a better experience with a cake, mini donuts and soft serve ice cream which they have on the outside menu. All these items were additional charge inside the tea room. I am not trying to be cheap but for a $300 lunch experience it is definitely not worth it. Nothing special and overly priced. I hope this gives insight to others about this place as this place gets good reviews and i just wanted to let you know our experience. Maybe management will read my reviews and change some things but at the rate that this place gets reservations...

I am absolutely appalled by the disgraceful customer service I received. To think I drove two and a half hours just to be treated so poorly is beyond infuriating. I accidentally left my ID at the hotel, not realizing I needed it for entry despite the fact that I don’t even drink alcohol. Yet, they still denied me access with zero compassion or consideration.
But here’s the kicker: Even after I drove all the way back to the hotel to retrieve my ID and returned, the service was even worse. The woman at the door was even more rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, she wasn’t even asking everyone else for their ID just me. It was clear there were plenty of open seats at the bar but they still refused to let us in, despite the fact that we simply wanted to pop in for a moment.
I pride myself on delivering exceptional customer service in my own work, and I genuinely believe in treating people with kindness and respect. But apparently, in today’s world, it’s perfectly acceptable to be met with rudeness and blatant disrespect.When I politely asked for their names to leave an honest review, they laughed in my face mocking me as if my experience didn’t matter. To make it worse, they started making up fake names just to be petty.
I refuse to let this go. I will be calling every single day until I speak with a corporate manager. No one should ever be made to feel the way I did when supporting a business. This kind of dismissive, unprofessional, and potentially discriminatory behavior is unacceptable.

First of all we were waiting for 20 minutes for our drinks in their store, finally we asked them if they have had prepared it or not, and we were told someone else took our drinks and left the store. So we waited again after 10 minutes eventually we got our drinks and guess what!!! They were cold as possible. Hot chocolate not even was warm chocolate but also it was like a room temperature chocolate milk. I was really disappointed for wasting my time for 30 minutes waiting for such a drink with lowest quality that I've ever had in my life. So we went to the register and complained about that, then we realized not only the quality is very low but also the customer service is lower than that. They treated us very bad. She told me I'm sorry that the drink is not hot enough for you if you keep coming here I'm gonna call the security!! I'm shattered with the way of customer service here. Very unprofessional!!! So they refunded us and called the security. We weren't afraid of anything!! So we waited for the securities to arrive!! It was very disrespectful!! Security guys were super nice and even agreeing with us!! HELLO KITTY CAFE!!!!!!!! I'm sorry for your business!! You need to pay more attention while you're hiring people!!!
