Nice size lot with another parking lot just a 1/4 mile up the hill. Depending on which trail you choose you could park accordingly. Nice steep ascent for 0.5 miles then winding turns dropping down to a little wooden bridge, then rising back up to a little plateau. One more small up and down and then your back to a long flat section that goes all the way to Bommer Canyon. Best time for this trail is about 2 hours before sunset that's when it's "shady" otherwise it can get pretty hot. Bring 32oz. of water but no snacks or food is needed.
