We had a very bad and stressful situation here recently, all due to.the carelessness of an employee - Sierra. She was asked to forward important mail via guaranteed UPS air overnight, in a specific package so it doesn't get lost, as it has in the past from this place. We tracked it the following morning and there was no information about it whatsoever. We called and she picked up. We explained the situation and she was extremely unprofessional, refused to help, refused to hand the phone over to anyone else who could help and just said to call customer service. We called again, and again, she picked up, refused to help, refused to hand the phone over to anyone else there who we know by name - we have been doing business at this location for several years - she just threw in inappropriate, unprofessional comments and hung up. We called again, and no one picked up - it rang and rang, then went to voicemail. We reached out by e-mail and called a fourth time, and she finally reluctantly handed the phone to another employee, who did spend the time to look into the matter, and informed us she did not send it overnight, or put it in the larger package, so at the moment, it is lost. If someone there doesn't know the difference between ground or overnight, lacks so much common sense and professionalism that she refuses to help, refuses to get another employee to help, takes no responsibility for her actions - just cares about throwing in rude words after causing so much unnecessary stress for a customer and business owner, they have no business working for UPS....
Read moreBe aware when you send out mail using this UPS store. They buy cheaper postage from USPS to send out your mail and charge you extra. They charge you for services they do can’t guarantee. I paid for expedited 2day shipping and certified mail for a package. I clearly specified to the clerk if that is possible because I need it to get there as soon as possible. The package was not delivered on time. When I spoke to the manager, he said that it is not their problem and I need to contact USPS. I can’t believe I paid UPS, and UPS is asking me to go to USPS to get a refund. When I spoke to USPS, they would not refund me because I did not purchase it from them. (Which I told the UPS manager would happen). He still said he can’t help me with my issue. USPS told me this UPS store only paid for $9+ priority mail but I was charged by UPS for over $30. Crazy how you pay UPS, they accept your payment and then use a lower service from USPS. Read moreI came in to send items that didn't fit in my carry-on. They packaged it up for us and shipped it out. 2 days later, we received something that was not ours. Obviously they shipped what was ours to someone else and we got another person's items.
I called UPS and they were able to locate our items. They emailed me a label so I could send what I got to the correct person. It's now been a week later and my items is still at the other person's house. This part is the person's fault for not sending it out (yet). But it's incredibly annoying playing the waiting game to see if your package has been sent.
Something that should have only taken 2 days to get me is now taking more than a week because the items were sent to the wrong people.
TLDR; Pack up your stuff at home AND THEN take it to the UPS store. Or if you can't pack up your stuff at home, watch them pack up your things in front of you and that the correct label is on...
