Since the big storm a few weeks ago, the bottom of the pool is full of piles of dirt. Both clocks flash continuously and display incorrect time (need new batteries after the winter?). Website is never updated so shows info that was valid in the winter, i.e. "closed" all the time. On a night when they hosted synchronized swimming practice for kids, there were zero lap lanes. On my LAST visit, a lifeguard leaned over from his chair and spit into the water. I've been swimming here for years, and this used to be my favorite pool, but it is nasty and poorly managed. They asked us to wait until they open and after waiting for 45 mins we asked them to give us a pass for next day as it was getting late and we had a baby who needed to eat. They said that we need to wait until 9:00 pm before they can close. All parents were waiting outside and asking for pass and everyone was refused. They didn't even let kids use the bathroom. But it has become so strict..now he can't even get on the big water slide because he has to have a green bracelet (he's 7 yrs old and HE CAN SWIM). Wth? I know my son can swim, can't you take my word for it? I know I wouldn't let him go on the slides if he didn't know how to swim! They also told my sister ( 15 y/o) she needed one to swim in the lap lanes when they clearly saw her swiming perfectly fine. The lifeguard who told her that was just so rude.
