Review from a Parent visiting this temple since year 2021:

Overall temple is okay. Priests are nice, good pooja environment and fun cultural activity. However, since this has been one of the oldest temple architecture in DFW and therefore some parts of the building requires update like falling roof ceilings and intermittent Air Condition. Its mundane to find AC not working during hot weather or find the unit to function appropriately for the days when low temperature are not required. Mandir has a library which is surprisingly one of the good part (not the best). Books in library have mostly been donated by friends and family members, but the management takes least interest to update the section with new ones. I believe if the temple has a library they should function 10% like how a library works.

Vidya Vikas has decent programs like teaching elementary kids religion, Indian Classical dance and Regional languages like - Hindi, Bengali, Gujarat, Tamil and Telegu. Volunteer teachers and books are good. However the Staff of Vidya Vikas is arrogant. They have highly poor crowd management and are not ready to take advice if a parent has to provide one (so writing this review after 3 weeks of consultation/discussion with the Head of Vidya Vikas Co-ordinator).

The premise is not adequate enough to handle a crowd in case of a fire/accident. As a concerned parent and a citizen of USA, I have written several emails and approached right point of contacts to help how to control the crowd but went on to deaf ears of the management. Each time I am left with a feeling as if I am demanding something for personal gain. The staff fails to understand that this is a crucial mitigatory step towards insane things going around in DFW and provide a sense of security and safety to the families visiting the temple. Times have changed and its not the same like it was during pre-pandemic days.

Easy way is to appoint a Sheriff/DFW Police Constable on site duty on Sundays and during major Hindu festivals. This is a common practice in DFW Churches, Mosques and Hanuman Temple...

DFW Hindu Temple – A Peaceful & Spiritual Experience! 🛕✨

DFW Hindu Temple is a wonderful place for Hindus like me to visit. It offers a serene and spiritual atmosphere, making it one of the best Hindu temples in the entire DFW area! 🌍🙏 The temple is large and beautifully maintained, with a clean and welcoming environment. The priests are kind, knowledgeable, and respectful, ensuring that every visitor feels comfortable. 🕉️💙 One of the most special things about this temple is the many rituals and celebrations that take place here. Almost all major Hindu religious festivals are observed, allowing devotees to connect with their faith and traditions. 🎉🛕 As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a unique, calming fragrance that clears your mind and strengthens your connection to Hinduism and its deities. The spiritual energy in this temple is truly uplifting. ✨🕉️ The building is spotless, and the temple is free to visit. However, if you wish, you can donate money to support the temple’s activities and maintenance. 💰🙏

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 Stars)

Priests: Kind, respectful, and knowledgeable 🕉️😊 Cleanliness: Well-maintained and spotless 🏠✨ Atmosphere: Peaceful, spiritual, and welcoming 🌿🙏 Festivals & Rituals: Celebrates almost all Hindu religious days 🎉🛕

I recently visited the DFW Indu Temple in Irving, and it was a truly uplifting experience. The temple is beautifully maintained, with stunning architecture and serene surroundings that immediately instill a sense of peace and spirituality. The intricate designs and vibrant colors of the temple are a feast for the eyes, making it a perfect place for both worship and reflection. The community at DFW Indu Temple is warm and welcoming. The priests and volunteers are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist and guide visitors through the various rituals and ceremonies. Their dedication to maintaining the sanctity and cleanliness of the temple is commendable. I was particularly impressed by the variety of cultural and religious events hosted at the temple. These events not only provide a deeper understanding of Hindu traditions but also foster a strong sense of community among attendees. The temple also offers various classes and activities for all age groups, making it a vibrant hub of cultural learning and spiritual growth. Overall, my visit to the DFW Indu Temple was a deeply enriching experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place of worship, cultural enrichment, or simply a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I look forward to...

Amazing celebration (Venkatachalam and Almellu Devi kalyanam). It was conducted so well with an amazing Telugu Bhakti singer (Shri Parupalli Sri Ranganath really made me immerse in the Bhakti) invited especially for this occasion. Both Friday and Saturday 18 & 19 July celebrations were so wonderful. Thanks to all devotees who volunteered and made the experience special for the rest of us. The Mahaprasadam was just lovely and for those of us who arrived in morning also had breakfast. Everything was so well thought…making the two days so delightful.
