Shacks Beach — Attraction in Isabela

I meant to write this review quite a while ago but life got in the way :(. We were at Villa Tropical In March of 2019 and had an amazing view of shacks beach from our amazing apartment. If you enjoy snorkeling and swimming or just lounging on the beach, this is the place to go!. I dont scuba dive but I have also seen some pretty spectacular videos and pictures of some dives that were done at that beach. The water is not rough at all and the sand on the beach was well taken care of. If you are looking for an amazing place to go on vacation, do yourself a favour and book yourself into one of the ocean view apartments at Villa Tropical that face shack's beach . You wont be...

Beautiful seafoam green water beach for locals or house vacation rentals. After finding it by walking a few minutes alongside a few houses on a pathway you see the entrance to the beach. Parking is limited meaning you have to park on the main road if you are just visiting like I was otherwise theirs resident and hotel parking. The day we went was a bit windy, but otherwise great day and time. The water has a lot of coral reef areas so it's not the best for swimming. Great for snorkeling and just wanted to get in the get wet. It did have some pockets of areas with no or limited reefs. We were able to sit on the shore and watch others do kite surfing...

a bit windy than other beaches. the sand shifts pretty badly there. we couldnt sit or lay down due to rhe sand whipping us because of how windy it is there. lots of ppl go there to scuba dive and snorkle. just not a good place to lay on the beach at. although, i do have to say, we all got burned or super dark while there. Real quick, you must park on the grassy parking lot. there is no parking near the entrance of the shack beach. so make sure you have coolers with wheels or strong manly man to carry them from grassy lot to beach area... there is a huge step down from platform to beach....
