Islamorada Chamber Of Commerce & Visitors Center — Attraction in Islamorada

As Canadians, an annual trip to Florida is a source of happiness for my family. Almost like a “rite of passage”, as I am an avid angler and now that my little girl has embraced the “Salty Life”, a trip to the Florida Keys was a heartfelt must. As a visitor, navigating South Florida can be intimidating but I wanted to make this trip a reality for my family, to show them what makes my heartbeat…to simply “set the hook for the pure love of the sport and to support the passion in anyway”. From the moment we walked into the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center, Luis and his colleague embraced my family, we felt welcomed, the energy and vibe had us at a loss for words, hence the emotional pauses as we listened to Luis illustrate a “visitors day trip road map to success”. By the end of the day, we left a piece of our hearts in the Florida Keys, for me, it was Islamorada, "The Fishing Capital of the World". We plan on returning…..I can still hear the Tarpon calling my name.

Luis, thank you so much, you helped me find my Crown Jewel called the “Salty Life” and my girls found a safe paradise to play in. We are at peace. I have already begun to share my experiences about the Florida Keys and plan on returning with some good people to “fish, eat, sleep…repeat”.

We visited the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce a week ago without much knowledge of what to do in Key West. Fortunately, we had the pleasure of meeting Luis, who was exceptionally polite and informative. Within minutes, he provided us with a booklet, various maps, and highlighted all the key stops and attractions we should visit. You will find a welcoming staff with incredible knowledge to tell you anything you want to know or answer any Questions about Islamorada.
