Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina — Attraction in Islamorada

First off the employees need a pay cut! I called on a Thursday to come launch my boat. The empoyee I talked to said yes you can launch your boat for 25$. I said "cool we are on the way", he said "awesome see you in a bit". Upon arrival I walked into the little building to pay and they all just looked at us like they have never seen a human being. I said I need to pay to launch my boat. They said "sorry we close in 30 minutes you cant", it's said "I just called and you said come on". Instead of answering my response they just stared at us. The next day we returned at 8 am when they open and yet again the employees were rude and acted like they didn't want to do there job. After paying for the day and then going out. We got back and was informed we have to pay twice, once to launch and once to pickup. Which was fine but as im trying to back my trailer up, the employee stopped me and Would Not stop heckling me about paying again. I told him that fine let me just get my boat out the water. As there was a line of other trailers behind me. They acted like I was gonna pull my boat out and just leave, instead if pay. I literally had to hand the guy my card through the windows while backing up, so they would leave me alone. After we pulled the boat out I put the straps on got my card and left. Our top most favorite marina to come to when visiting Islamorada!!! Everyone so friendly, professional and helpful. Nice surroundings with a beautiful park, tennis courts, pickleball, pool, nice Laundry facilities,clean showers and bathrooms. Nice beach on premises along with common grills and picnic benches and snorkeling!!!! Very dog friendly with exception to the beach. Also there is a freebee app you can get for free car or van rides anywhere you want to go within I believe 20 miles just tip them! Also if wanting to bike it Publix is about 4 miles south , West Marine about 5 miles south and Winn Dixie CVS just over 5 miles northI highly recommend this marina to anyone who wants to enjoy Islamorada! I don't often write bad reviews about places, however this is the second time I had the worst experience in this place. The costumer service in the boat ramp area is horrible. The " boat ramp guy" has always an hostile attitude towards us. The boat ramp advertise closing at 6 pm but you better get there before 5 or you will need to find a new boat ramp to get your boat out of the water.
