I love breakfast. It's my most favorite meal of the day. So I went to Marathon Bagel Co. - Islamorada. There's plenty to choose from here. A lot of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I went with the Belly Buster! This wasn't on the regular menu. Instead, it was listed on the chaulk board next to the counter. What a great breakfast sandwich! You choose your Bagel. I went with sesame. Then they pile on cheese, bacon, hasbrowns, sausage, and 2 eggs. I needed some hot sauce, and they happened to have little packets of tobasco. First of all the bagels here are fresh and delicious. The texture is perfect. Soft on the inside and a little chew on the outside. If anything, you could just get a bunch of Bagels and eat them. They're good. The rest of the sandwich was a perfect hangover type meal. The coffee was a breakfast blend type. Mild but goes with breakfast. Very clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. Prices are great, love the interior mural, and tables.

I used to go to the one in Marathon that is still there today, and now I come to this one often because it is right in my neighborhood.

Only issue is that I come here and many do very frequently. The staff is the same and I have an issue that they only refer to your order as a number, don’t call out the order, don’t learn your name, if you are a regular.

Restaurants that have far worse breakfast food will have return customers just because of the more personalized customer service.

If you're from NY or NJ, you know what a GOOOOD bagel is supposed to be... and this place HIT the NAIL on the HEAD! Great atmosphere! Friendly conversation! There are plenty of spread options! They even had porkroll (iykyk). And, of course, delicious bagels!! So, if you're looking for a morning after breakfast or just a piece of home, this is it.
