The Coach Jackson Premium Outlets has very competitive prices, however the manager, particularly Christopher at this location made the overall experience extremely unpleasant.
Christopher was very resistant every time a question was asked about a $695 purchase. Because of the lack of credibility behind his answers, we spent most of our time researching the product details on our phones in the store because basic questions couldn't be confidently answered such as the type of leather the bag was made of.
Once we made the decision to purchase the bag on display, we asked to have a new one from back. Before finalizing our purchasing, we asked the staff at the registers/managers to make sure we had the correct bag. They reassured us there was only one type for this style bag and we had the correct one. After getting home and opening up the bag, they gave us the smaller version of the style we selected. After driving 1hr back, Christopher was very rude and insensitive to the mistakes that HE and HIS STAFF made with messing up the initial purchase. If Christopher spent less time gossiping to his coworkers on what kind of car he wished he was driving, then maybe this scenario could of been completely avoided.

Despite how appealing your products be, poor customer service can quickly drive a customer away and lose a sale completely. Just let me look around and shop, if i want help i will ask. Dont really care for one of the managers there. She makes the experience very uncomfortable. Its already uncomfortable being black going into these stores being judged for stealing. This particular manager is very strict with returns and exchanges. The way she speaks to u is very agressive and condescending. Tried to do an exchange and i heard her say she wasnt giving me nothing. I Do not feel special when i come into this store, i do not get treated like a princess at this location. I Only come to this location if its last resort. But I love the jersey shore location. The girls r so nice and understanding. Being a coach girlie u may see a bag u like but u will be doin lots of returns when u r not sure what u like or how to match things. Some girls r very picky and im one of them. It would be nice to go into this store and feel like a family and not judged or have an overly strict manager who does not build rapport with u. She acts more like a sergeant, the coach patrol who enforces the rules. Shes more focused on rules then she is making the customer happy and the experience. Read moreGiving 1 star for the horrendously cruel Manager but 5 stars for the INCREDIBLE sales associates who went above and beyond to make us feel special and help us. It was so nice to be attended to and helped with every need we had. The manager at night on Wednesday snapped at one of the sales associates assisting my mother and I. The sales associate was amazing, helpful, made several trips back and forth to help us and was awesome. The “manager” did nothing but criticize our sales associate in front of the whole store; as well as chastised her for “helping those women for too long”- as if that was a bad thing. I want to say I’d return to this location because our two sales associates were amazing. But unless that manager is properly retrained on how to treat customers and employees- I will not be returning. The environment that person created, especially to a young female associate was inappropriate and uncalled for. Our sales associate did her job, and she did it well. She was there not only to “make a quick sale”, but to have happy customers who’d return. Left with such a bad taste in our mouths for the manager who bullied that sales associate.
