I had an appointment with Bailee on December 14, during which she colored my hair and did a great job. However, upon returning home, I noticed that my shirt had gotten bleach stains on it. I reached out to Bailee to express my disappointment and requested a refund of $45.00 to cover the cost of my ruined shirt. The total for my appointment amounted to $287.50, which included a $50 tip. Bailee read my message but did not respond. I followed up the next day, yet she still did not reply.
After two days without a response, I opted to contact the salon directly via email. Afterward, Bailee replied to my initial message, stating that accidents occur and that there are smocks available in the restroom for additional protection. I was given a smock and was wearing one, but the bleach managed to get around it. Bailee indicated that she could not authorize a refund without first consulting the owner. I requested that the owner contact me regarding this matter, reiterating my position that I am only seeking a refund of $45, despite leaving a $50 tip. Once again, Bailee did not respond to my message.
The salon owner, Brittany, reached out to me in an attempt to resolve the matter; however, her proposed solutions were, frankly, insulting. She indicated that she had located a similar shirt online for $20 and offered to either purchase that version for me or provide a $45 discount on my next appointment. It is important to note that the shirt that was ruined is the Taylor Swift Eras Tour shirt, and the one she claimed to have found for $20 is a knockoff version from a print screen shop. Additionally, after Bailee disregarded my initial message, I chose to purchase the shirt myself due to concerns about potential sellouts. Our communication continued as I expressed my dissatisfaction with her proposed resolution. Brittany subsequently stated that if she were to ruin her own shirt while participating in a pottery class, she would not seek a refund from the owner. I clarified that if she had damaged her own shirt, that would be a different situation; in this instance, it was HER stylist who had ruined MY shirt.
I told her that the suggested solution was not good enough and that it had become clear that we would not reach a mutually agreeable resolution. Consequently, I requested the cancellation of my appointments and indicated my intention to leave a negative review for the salon, given her refusal to rectify an issue caused by her employee. Offering a $20 knockoff shirt is unreasonable when the original...
Read moreIt was upsetting enough getting my hair ruined when I paid over 250 for it but for them to make me feel like the bad guy and embarrass me in front of everyone when I had done nothing but give the stylist a second chance was just heartbreaking. Went to Jewel and she ruined my hair. She turned it brassy and slapped some toner on top so it looked good when I walked out but turned brassy after 2 days. Instead of owning up to it her and the manager blamed it on me, my shampoo, my dry shampoo and even the sun lol (be careful bc they will use everything you said to them in the consult against you). I kept telling them that Jewel didn't lighten my hair enough for the toner to take and none of them would acknowledge it. They interrogated me and I kept telling them I hadn't washed my hair. It turned brassy after 2-3 days of getting it done. I gave her a second chance and she turned it copperish red this time. Then the owner called me bc I asked for a refund and she was very rude. She kept $95 for "materials" so I asked the tip back bc I wasn't going to pay over $100 for them to ruin my hair and the owner laughed in my face. Really awful people. Avoid at all costs. Went to my old hairstylist to get it fixed and without me even mentioning anything she said my hair wasn't lightened enough for the toner to take. The first pic is the reference pic I showed Jewel and second one is how...
Read morei had recently got my hair cut at another salon by my house that ruined my hair and didn’t listen to what i asked for at all. i didn’t know how else to fix it but then i found salt salon and went to them right when they opened to see if there was any possible way to fix my hair. they were so sympathetic and i could tell they genuinely wanted to help me. i let them know i was open to the idea of getting extensions and they were able to get me in that same day for a consultation with delaney. delaney was so nice and explained everything to me and let me know that there was definitely hope to fix my hair. they got me in as soon as possible and while there was a little hiccup with getting the extensions delivered to the salon before my scheduled appointment time which wasn’t their fault at all, they were still able to get me in an hour before they closed to fix my hair asap. delaney was great and im so thankful she was able to fix my hair and she did a wonderful job. everyone i’ve interacted with at this salon has truly just been so amazing to me and...
