I want to start off by saying this. Cheap haircuts are not good, and good haircuts are not cheap. With everything I get done, which includes the hair cut and hard part, mustache and eyebrow lineup, it costs me 30 plus tip. Worth every dollar because I leave there feeling and looking great. This barber shop reminds me a lot of where I use to go to back home. (Chicago) I have tried 3 barber shops through out Jacksonville before this, but once I found out about this place I kept coming back. They have around 6 barbers working every time I go. They accept walk ins, appointments and cut men, woman, and children. I can speak from experience that the first two guys on the left, and the lady and guy that are on the right when you walk in are great at cutting hair. I seen a review about this guy talking about don’t go if you’re not Hispanic, which I find very irrelevant. Yes, I believe they are all Latinos, however they do have a couple people in there who can translate for you if you do not speak Spanish. They go in order by appointments to who ever walked in first. Be prepared to wait a good minute, but it will...
Read moreTwice in a row, 6 weeks apart, they messed up my hair. I don’t understand why. I tip $5 and I am polite. To be a little more specific, I ask that clippers not be used a quarter inch above my ear, all the way round the head. Yet two times in a row my cowlick has been completely buzzed over by clippers. The ones that cut my hair spoke some English so I doubt something was lost in translation. If a kid was not present at the time of my cut, I would have been more assertive about how I asked for a professional haircut but was given a faddish one instead (I look like a p- dejo now... thanks). I am going to have to go somewhere else tomorrow to have most of what’s left scalped off by someone who knows what they are doing and doesn’t discriminate. Maybe I will just go to the military base as I am...
Read moreI have been going to this barber shop since they were at their old location in the same shopping center . I have seen many of the barbers come and go but over the years the Name the professionals barber have gone down hill . Today I walked in to get a hair cut their was a barber playing dominoes with a lady , I supposed his game of dominoes was more important than a customer trying to get hair cut . He told the other barber he could take me because he just started playing his game . I would say it’s a young and dumb thing it this a place of business and staff should some level of professionalism. Very disappointing experience I’ll take my business elsewhere for future haircuts. Btw no one acknowledged potential clients it seems more of a bother /...
