Sandy Creek Park — Attraction in Jasper

It was very beautiful. Terribly long lines that were very confusing as to which were for the trolley and which were for the train. It just seemed like it took forever and there were so m any kids, small and LG in line that were h saving trouble saying in line for so long. I wish I knew a good suction, but I don't but it was torture for that long with little one all around you screaming and wanting to run off and parents getting frustrated. The Jasper Fall Festival was smaller than expected. The Weiner Dog race was interesting, but had limited space for viewers. There were only 7 kid's activities and quite a few repetitive booths, i.e. a lot of handmade soap and banks giving out items. Parking seemed sufficient for the size. Huge letdown was no tables or chairs for people to sit and eat or rest. It would have been beneficial to have signs pointing guests in the right direction in town as well as an address or more location detail on the...

Roughly a 1.5 mile asphalt trail the follows the creek on both sides. It is wide enough for 3 people to walk side by side. There are open and covered benches. There is a restroom building for both men and women near the gazebo. Tree-lined and tree covered throughout. It is very well maintained and clean. The early morning walkers are very friendly.
