Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Jasper

We are traveling late and going through Jasper. We see our favorite burger place and say thank goodness! Food! We pull into the drive thru. When we get to the speaker in drive thru, it takes several min to get someone to ask if they can take our order. We order our food, my sister has to repeat it them 4 times. Ok maybe the speaker is messing up?? They finally get the order and they repeat it to us. Finally, its correct. We get to the window. VERY unprofessional! They give the total, my sister hands them my card. She is told to scan it in the debit deal in the drive thru. We wait maybe 10? Min for our food. The ENTIRE 10 min we waited, the employees keep staring at my sister who was driving, pointing and laughing at her. Making direct eye contact with her! When they finally pass the food out, there is 1 napkin. So my sister asks for more napkins. They hand it out. We pull forward to check the food.. NOTHING is correct! Looks like a toddler having a tantrum made the food! We ordered 1 sonic cheeseburger with mayo minus onions. A sonic bacon double cheese burger. Mayo & ketchup all the way. The regular cheese burger was a mess. Had onions. The double had an excessive amount of mayo n ketchup. And NO bacon. Both cold! Like COLD! Overall a major waste of our money! Rude employees.. Food beyond nasty....

If I could give 0 stars I would, ordered through doordash, spent $30 and didn’t receive what I had ordered. I ORDERED A DOUBLE BACON CHEESEBURGER AND A HOT DOG KIDS MEAL. MY SONS MEAL WAS NOT EDIBLE AND MY BURGER WAS COLD AND STALE IT DID NOT HAVE BACON NOR THE EXTRA PATTY NOR THE JALAPEÑOS OR ANY OF THE OTHER TOPPINGS AND CONDIMENTS I HAD PAID EXTRA FOR!. MY DRINK HAD ICE IN IT DESPITE ME ORDERING NO ICE. IT HAD MAYO WHEN I DIDN’T ORDER MAYO. THIS STORE HAS EMPLOYEES WHO DO NOT PAY ATTENTION AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION WHERE THE ORDER WAS CONSTANTLY MESSED UP. THIS STORE HIRES LAZY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WHO ARE CLEARLY UNDER THE INFLUENCE. IF YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND A SIMPLE ORDER THAN DO NOT WORK HERE. I’M FUMING I WASTED $30 ON FOOD I HAD TO THROW AWAY. How hard is it to make a stupid double cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeños? Absolutely ridiculous. Sonic has lost my business for good. Just because you’re not smart enough to work a higher paying job doesn’t give you a right to slack off and be lazy when you have the easiest job...

The food is always hot and fresh and staff is always friendly. During the Covid culture, I've observed all staff wearing masks including when you are brought your food. I go to this location several times a week and order a drink thru the app (they are half off all day when you order through the app). It seems to always take 5+ minutes to receive my drink when I order one. I dont reflect that on the staff but possibly the app instead. How upset can I really be though that it takes several minutes to receive a drink lol #firstworldproblems.

I also want to point out did I didn't go to this location for several years after the new one opened. I didn't go because I heard rumors of food poisoning. But I finally broke down and went and everything has been perfect. It was probably just small town rumors. So if you ever heard that, dismiss it. I can attest to their practices and food quality and I cant find one negative thing...
