This is such a great place for so many reasons! Thirty miles of bike/walking trails makes this a bikers dream. Clean restrooms in a public park is always a plus in my book. Gorgeous grassland and really good wooded walking trails. Watch the tiny little fish or the ducks from the bridge between the Devon street entrance and the Bunker Hill side. Ample parking and covered picnic areas make this a really great place for Family outdoor gatherings. Fill up your water bottles at the pump that provides refreshingly cold water. Easily accessible and endless parking available. Lots of animal tracks, bird watching is great too! A nice summer spot.
Be sure to bring a trash bag and pick up some litter as you go, the river deposits are unsightly and hazardous to the ecosystem so do your part!
