Forest View Bakery — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

They have bread and pastries. I did not try any bread on this visit, but it looked fresh.

The apple cake had a decent crust, but used a type of lard instead of butter which left a slight film in my mouth. It could use a bit more salt and sugar, but the apples had a nice texture. The donut was dry and greasy, the creme was good but maybe used artificial vanilla. The eclair was also quite dry and tasted old. Maybe because the eclair was cut in half for the filling.
