Robinson Woods-South — Attraction in Jefferson Township

Beautiful place with long trails which connect to other Preserves both south and north. 2 picnic shelters. Some days plane traffic is noisy but unfortunately that is O'Hare expansion. Deer feed in evenings and early mornings. Prefer over Catherine Chevalier Woods (across the street north)as less crowded on trails but speeding bikes can still be a problem with no bells, lights. New bridge is a beautiful connection but very busy with bikes so some days and times it makes foot traffic and using a stroller tricky. Great place to plane watch. The British airways A380 flies right over between 5-630 pm most days. Is the only one on assignment at O'Hare. Clean great for spotting and watching deer. I've been to many forest preserves and im giving this a 5 star due to the trail paths for biking is awesome. It has a lot parking space. Beautiful clear field to play. Bathrooms or johns.
