Dolphin Tours of Jekyll Island — Attraction in Jekyll Island

We were so pleased with our morning tour that we decided to book the sunset trip for that night. Two reviews for two different experiences. First, the review for the morning trip with Captain Phil. We chose this company as they advertised (in writing and confirmed by phone call), that they allowed dogs on board. We took our 17 pound corgi and were all greated very kindly by the captain. Lily was well-behaved and we had no issues. Phil made the tour interesting with facts and fun with his sense of humor and music choices. Highly recommend if Phil is your Captain. *Arrived for the sunset cruise with a different captain and were told Lily might not be allowed on the boat. That every passenger must agree to her being there, and having the dog on board is "at the captain discretion " . This did not match what we read on their website, what I was told when I called, or our experience earlier in the day. Ultimately, Lily was allowed on the boat, but we did not feel welcome and did not enjoy the trip as we had in the morning. Chinook and I had a fantastic time on our Dolphin cruise!! Thank you to these 2 amazing men for making our day and week !! As we began to depart the dock, are Capt. Pablo sounded the horn 3-4 times as it is required by Cosst Guard laws. He was very considerate in letting me know to prepare Chinook for horn sound. Van, definitely has some Eagle eyes!! As he spotted an Eagle as we were starting our voyage. Perched on a metal/wood pole. Our Capt. caught a Manatee breaking the water to get some air. I had just caught the last second of it. The air was light and crisp with the morning sun beaming down to offset the cool breeze. As we began to return to the dock... Mother Nature blessed us with dolphins!! What a sight!! We had the pleasure of having Captain Pablo and Captain Eric. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job than these two gentlemen. Captain Pablo was so full of information it would make your head spin. He gave you very interesting facts in a very interesting way. In my humble opinion he's a National treasure and a Hero. I would like to personally thank Captain Pablo and Captain Eric for their service to the United States of America and for their long careers in law enforcement. Captain Eric was very kind and polite and helpful. He did such a great job keeping us with the dolphins. There was literally no shortage of dolphins to see. Between his excellent driving and Captain Pablo's great wit in excellent banter there was not a dull moment on the entire trip. We would definitely come back and do it again. My wife and I found it to be crazy affordable. It was definitely money well spent for the amount of enjoyment...
