Koeneman Park — Attraction in Jennings

It shows that Jennings Park Department does absolutely nothing every day because this park is so trashy and nasty. This goes to show you how much they care about their citizens. Do you all even pick up trash and clean the park to make it look presentable to the people who actually come in and use the park. The playground is old and outdated they have trash throughout the playground, and the kids have to sort through the trash just to make it to the slides. I don't know when the last time they cleaned it maybe never but that just goes to show you if nobody is on their butts about keeping their park clean as being the public works department what else are they doing because they're not cutting the high grass Network at the dilapidated homes throughout Jennings so actually what are you doing besides wasting taxpayers money and gas running all over town instead of being in your jurisdiction cleaning up the mess that you're getting paid to do. You don't see the alderman until it's time to vote for them but then you barely see them then are you see or signs vote for me vote for me and all of them are doing the same thing nothing absolutely nothing and I don't see how aldermen can be in the in the office for 30 years and do nothing for the ward how is this possible. I wish I could give zero stars and I wish I could tag the all the woman in the Alderman's that are responsible for this atrocity but I bet you one thing they getting paid on time I...

OMG OMG OMG...this was the first time holding our family reunion at Koeneman's Park and everyone loved the location. Large pavilions to accommodate large families, you have your own section with pull up parking near your pavilion and yes it was CLEAN, even the restrooms smelled like lemons and that's clean. I must mention the scenery...simple breath taking. The landscape is eye capturing with the large lake, beautiful design and a nice walking trail in which my cousin and I took advantage of. Finally the park rangers, park workers, and the Jennings Police Officers, these men went above and beyond to displayed their commitment to the job. The park workers came around numerous times throughout the day to clean the trash cans, the park rangers asked if we needed anything and the Jennings Police Officers made sure every family visiting was safe. This will be our go to park for many more...

Good park. Lake is relaxing. Waterfall is no longer turned on for some reason. Makes the park look and feel dry. So i Can only give 3 stars if that. Park workers also seem to harass park goers at closing. This is unprofessional and not felt at other parks like this one. Most ppl are adult and know when to leave this park. Also,, I used my fish finder the other day. This pond needs more fish. I only seen six fish through out the entire lake/pond. I fish for sport and practice for tournaments so I'm catching and releasing. Most ppl aren't. This park should be stocked adequately for the novice kid to adult professional. Can't give this park 4 stars anymore. 2 at the most for not stocking this lake/pond properly. This park is manicured and looks good but lacks substance as far as it biggest attraction.
