Went to see the Whispers this 4th of July weekend because someone had purchased the tickets without consulting with me...lol. I already KNOW and KNEW how completely unprofessional and disappointing this location has been. We got there 30 minutes before the doors opened and still had to park way in the back of the building. Like someone else said they charged $10 to park further from the door on a graveled dirt road. While parking in the front closer to the door was FREE. That is some foolishness. Then the Dirty Muggs vocals were really bad. The Whispers sounded AWESOME until this one lady in our area disrupted the entire concert. The bouncer was trying to get her to leave and she continued for 15 minutes to be loud and inconsiderate of everyone else. Needless to say we could not hear the Whispers. It continued to escalate so we decided to move to the back. Then the police and others came until we decided to leave because with folks shooting up places (just because) it wasn't something we wanted to be around that could have had a bad ending. I called the Ambassador to ask was there any compensation for the patrons that left due to that HUGE disruption. As I expected they said no...lol. We were looking for a venue to hold my father's repast that could hold up to 200ppl. All the venues we called were booked up someone suggested the Ambassador because they could hold the amount of ppl. It was a nightmare! There was water leaking from the ceiling onto what they call a dance floor, there was mold outlining the ceiling, the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in, the floor, stage & some of the linens were not cleaned from the previous event. They were still trying to clean up as we arrived. There were roaches crawling along the wall and up the wall. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. We try to support our own but oh how they failed us. The owner told me if I didn't like what was going on that I should have packed up the repast and left. I thought that was very inconsiderate of my loved ones death. Please do not use this place what we paid for was not at all what we received. Wedding reception on Aug 5 2023. My sister paid extra so that se could setup because the wedding was at four. Well it wasnt setup like it should have. Dirty table cloths and set covers. The floors was nasty and the building when you walked in smelled musty. I went to the store and pd 0ver 50.00. Buying carpet fresh, candels, deodorant wall plugins, windex for windows. We made them put new table cloths on the tables and chair cover. I had them changing tile in the ceilings. We worked hard trying to get the room ready for the reception. When you are paying your money you should not have to go and cleanup because the staff should have had it ready. I would not recommend anyone to that place. They want to rent and not put any money back into the place. It needs to be closed down. I put one starr but 0 stars if they have one. Then the staff want make excuses and I was not having it.
