Extra Space Storage — Local services in Jennings

Rented form Extra Space from Feb-June 2014. Everything was fine until I went in June to start moving things to my new place. There were ROACHES everywhere! Now, they didn't come from me because I didn't bring any food/excluded items into the storage facility. So I knew several other people were most likely infected as well. This made my next few months miserable as I brought roaches into my new apartment as a result. I do give them 3 stars because they worked with me through all of this mess. I cannot remember the man's name (it wasn't Patrick), but his right hand man, was the one that helped me. They allowed me to have extra days to clear things out and did not charge me for leaving several big things behind. Go to whom it may concern this experience has been an awesome one first I was greeted with much kindness I shook the hand with people that I have never met before. They did not have to do anything but speak and continue on with they work but they didn't they stopped and considered my presence shook my hand and smile. I was shown a store a storage area that was not to my liking then I was showed another one that work for me this experience has been very pleasurable. Did my transaction online on a saturday. When I went to check unit after hours it was a complete disaster. First off, there was no lock left inside as promised. Secondly, it was very, very dirty. It needed a to be swept. The drywall had holes in the bottom corners and there was a hole in the ceiling. I feared rats or mice would get in. There were large rat traps outside the units. I had to cancel my move for the next morning to find another storage. I would not recommend this facility or if you do, please go and check the unit while the office is open...
