Update: 12-29-2021 Yep, they still have unqualified employees working there. Iâve been repairing video game consoles and building computers for about 7 years now. I went to sell an old Xbox one I had laying around. The girl asked me how much my geams vanguard game screen portable case (that I wasnât selling) cost. Theyâre $350 alone. She said âoh thatâs nothing.â A guy just came in here with a $1200 PlayStation 4. Huh?! I corrected her and saidâyou mean ps5?â She said no, PlayStation 4. Iâm sorry but unless itâs made of solid gold from the manufacturer. Thatâs a flat out lie. Even at msrp a ps5 is $500 at the most. I knew better so I didnât go back and forth. This clearly illustrates how ignorant some of their employees are to some of the things they purchase from people. Thatâs part of the reason they have inventory they canât get rid of. The employees are cool as heck and itâs not their fault though. Just hire more qualified people and train the ones who arenât knowledgeable about technology. Bumped my rating up a star too.
They only accept laptops but have a mass amount of desktops. Not because theyâre accepting too many but the prices for most of their merchandise is ridiculous. Items that are just wasting space is on the shelfâs for no reason. Mark it down and get rid of that nonsense. The staff is cool but ignorant when it comes to most products. Thereâs been plenty times Iâve shown their staff how to check the true specs of a pc and not spoofed ones. Theyâve presented me with laptops that on the surface look decent but when I check the specs arenât as fast as my oldest iPhone that are severely overpriced. Honestly, what does a 45 yo woman know about the value of a 1200w amp and 15in speakers. Whatever happened to being qualified for a job? I noticed a male coach bag and asked a dark skin lady with dreadlocks ( sorry she didn't have a name tag on), what was the price for the bag and she just ignored me then she finally stated $125.00 and walked away. then a white lady ( again no name tag) asked could she help me. I told her I wanted that coach bag and I also saw a Michael kor purse so I wanted those items. as I checked out the lady with the dreadlocks made a statement in regard to she wanted the bag and then walked away, the white lady who happen to be the manager of the store came up with an excuse saying the original person who pawned the bag put it back on layaway for 3 more days and that back shouldn't have been on display. first from the time I walked in that store the the lady with the dreadlock was already by it so why didn't she just removed it and the manager covering for her rude remark should have said something to her instead of saying that's rude.
