Meierstone Vineyards — Attraction in Johnson City

Amazing winery worth the stop and your future return on the 290 trail. Family owned with a lot of very interesting history. Never had a bad a wine there. The wine maker has a very keen eye for detail and very much reflected in her wines and the ambience of the tasting room. Everything is five stars from the second you walks in till you leave. A true “up and comer” in the Fredericksburg area. Highly recommended. The winemaker was there and shared with us her story and passion she has for making quality over quantity. The winemaker’s nails were literally stained purple and depends on volunteers to help with harvest. My husband had the reserve tasting while I did the estate red tasting so we could try them together and compare. Both excellent!
