Haunted Trails Family Entertainment Center & Picnics — Attraction in Joliet

Oh this was remarkable! While waiting in line at the beginning of the forest preserve trail, all you heard was screaming! I went with my daughter, & my 10 yr old grandson, and I was so scared it was such a huge highlight! My daughter, & grandson laughed so hard at my screaming... People dressed up and acting all normal, in a switch came after you with loud garden tools, jumping out of bushes, trees, talking to you one moment, next wanting to cut u up in little parts! Or the taunting song..."Come Play With Me!" as "It" the clown character comes crawling a cross your path, only later to run after you! Little flash lites that bearly give off light! "The best night ever!" My family and I love Haunted Places! Gold stars everyone, thank you...! The best one, was when we were at the end of the path, & someone with a kettle caught our attention on the right, and my daughter turned slightly to her left, & said Mom! All I heard was that song from above, and something flash by me... I screamed... And ran screaming someone is after me, run I told my grandson. He and my daughter were in front of me... My grandson grabbed my flash light and switched it off, along with his... And they; (my family), & the people on the path doubled over laughing as I ran by! My heart was pounding out of my chest! I couldn't breathe! It was the best scare! Again I can't thank you enough for such...

Let me start off with a Big Thank You to Rosendo he's the Manager, if it wasn't for him this place would of gotten a one star!!! We came here for my nephew's birthday party and my niece. They have a room for birthday parties which is nice but other parties are in the same room as you it's not bad, you get in there eat pizza and cake and send the kids off! If you're looking to wear your kids out and have a good time I would definitely recommend coming here!!!! If you really think about it prices aren't bad at all and the birthday packages are pretty good! I'd rather have a birthday party here then Chucky Cheese. The games are pretty cool Adults can have fun as well!!!!! Laser tag was one of my favorite things to do. They have so much to do here my kids couldn't tell me they were bored!!! But now let's start with the fact that this place is ran by a lot of kids so if you have any issues I would recommend just to speak with the Manager save the confusion or whatever the issue is, it's not worth arguing with the staff they're young which isn't a bad thing, it might be good for the kids that come here they might feel comfortable having younger kids running the games and counter's. Poor customer service inside. Great outside. Though it wasn't a bad experience all around, there were some things that just didn't settle well with my Boyfriend and I. You see, the people at the go kart area were amazing. Especially the one tall black dude. He gave us another try when our friends cart wouldn't work. When we went inside though is where all the problems happened. One of the claw machines has a cup with a ton of prizes in it. My boyfriend won one on his first try. The second time he got it and it was dangling over the bin. It was stuck on the claw. When we called a guy to try to help us out, he made the machine go off and dropped the cup back in the thing. Needless to say, they gave us a 2.00 refund on a 20 dollar worth cup stuff. WE SHOULD HAVE HAD THE CUP. Idk. I'm still bummed and will probably never return. Great for kids but if you win something in a claw machine, just shake it. Don't ask for help or you will be...
