The park is in mostly good condition but there is a considerable amount of moss and growth under the slide areas. The barrier between the ground and playground was sourced using some alternative type rubber and it's crumbling. The garbage cans should be cleaned a bit more often, people like to bring their own alcohol to make adult slushies from the ice cream shop next door. I don't care to see bottles and boxes of beer at my kids park, that's my biggest gripe. People should have fun. Garbage should be cleaned more. Now, onto more happy stuff.

I've been coming here for about 30 years. My family would drive nearly an hour here back in the day just for ice cream way back when it was called "Creamy Delight". Rich and Creamy is the new name and I think they serve a soft serve style probably ice cream and not yogurt. It's not super creamy like the fake McDonald's ice cream but it's pretty good. The baby cone is good enough to feed a 5 year old so don't let them talk you into a small one cause they never finish it (in my experience).

I love this dinky little ice cream place. The paint is peeling a bit and it looks like it's definitely seen better days but that A/C sure still is cold in there so they're doing something right. The line gets long and they should have a better queue because it's dangerous standing along the busy road. There are lots of men with really big trucks in Joliet and they want you to know they are big and strong and drive fast.

And lastly, I just wanted to say I learned how to kiss right here in this parking lot. Thank you Ricky Martin picture I won from Haunted Trails in 1999. and also to Rich and Creamy for making good stuff. Great family spot for...

Unless we missed something, it’s just okay. It’s a strip of a paved walking path. They have a few sculptures and a couple trees have a sign saying what type of tree they were. There’s lots of birds around but my bird identification app couldn’t hear them clearly due to the traffic. This was a good outdoor activity for my family, including 8 year old grandson. You can’t see the Des Plaines river from this walkway. I truly hope some community group helps to restore the mosaics that are losing their tiles. There is a free parking lot. I didn’t see any restrooms. The shade of the trees on s nice on a...

As a place that is advertise for visiting, I didn't see a designated bathroom area.. The ice cream shop had good ice cream but the lemonade was carbonated and nasty.. Otherwise the place is nice for a quick small stretch to walk a bit and get some fresh air.. The shop across turned out to be the coolest stop and the view at the park stretch to the old Joliet prison looked cool.. Be aware of the tree area as it goes dangerously to the bottom of the 🌎.. That are should have cautions signs to...

Was neat, could see the prison in the distance from a lookout, there's a small park, ice cream shop, and some cool picture opportunities. I would say that there could probably be a lot more cool things put in this area to see, and it could be maintained a little better. A neat little stop if you are in the area, but I wouldn't drive more than an hour just to see it.
