If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. My mom and I decided to stop here for the first (and LAST) time because it looked like a small family-owned business, and we actually felt bad since it was so empty. Big mistake. The moment we walked up, we greeted the old man working, and he completely ignored us and slammed the window shut in our faces. We thought, “Okay, maybe he didn’t hear us?” so we waited. TWO minutes later, he finally opened the window, acting annoyed, and asked what we wanted. We placed our order, nothing crazy, just ice cream. When it came time to pay, we handed him a card for a NINE dollar purchase. And then he had the nerve to ask for an ID. Excuse me? An ID for a $9 charge? This wasn’t about the card. This was about the way we looked. We were being racially profiled and treated like criminals for no reason. The disrespect was loud and clear. We came in with good intentions, wanting to support a small business, and instead we got ignored, humiliated, and targeted. If this is how they treat paying customers with suspicion, hostility, and flat-out discrimination — then it’s no wonder the place was empty. Save yourself the time and energy. Don’t support a business that thinks profiling people is okay. Absolutely disgusting. and from reading all the reviews they only card blacks and mexicans! absolutely ridiculous! - from a proud to be mexican girly

Stopped by from out of town. Ice cream was yummy. The baby cone was the smallest cone I’ve ever seen(the palm of my hand small). We were surprised to see the size. We wish we had known the difference a head of time. A sample in the window would be my suggestion. The staff was not the friendliest..my guess was that they were the owner so they didn’t care how they treated their customers. Seems like a popular spot nonetheless. Area around it is run down and needs a uplift. Signage and statues were broken and/or sun damaged.

Never returning after having come here all my life. Not the first time I come and the old man who I assume is one of the owners is completely rude.

Today Rudest interaction ever. Mind you it was not a young kid or the young ladies but way older man that should have better customer service skills by now. The ice cream has always been ok probably because it’s nostalgic having came here as a child. Its beyond aggravating the way they speak to customers at times. Today I had enough. Literally the tone, delivery, not a thank you, not a please. More of a bossy he was so aggravated to have to take orders and make the order. He doesn’t wash his hands between handling the food and th register nor was he wearing gloves.

Oh and be prepared to show Id with your debit card because they don’t have a pin pad. So they only run it as credit and with no Id u can’t purchase. Completely rude about it walked back to the car for ID & purchased only because my kid insisted. Wont be retuning even if it was my favorite place to come. Business that don’t care to be the least bit polite to their customers don’t deserve...
