Technology Center — Attraction in Joplin

Don't let the Christian cross on their sign fool you, Jesus wouldn't be happy about the way these foreign scammers do business. Dealing with these unprofessional people was extremely stressful. It took $140, 4 weeks, and 4 trips back and forth to fix a problem that another more experienced and reputable computer repair company could have fixed quickly. Most of what they actually did was correct errors they made when they "repaired" it before.

They convinced me to wipe my data because it was the easiest fix and I trusted them. They installed the wrong version of Windows and I had to come back, then they forgot to give me my charger and I had to come back, and then forgot to check why the laptop was overheating. Their way of checking to make sure my computer worked after installing a new hard drive was by simply turning it on. I had my laptop back from them the 3rd time and I couldn't even send an email because it would shut off. The "manager" kept insisting my laptop worked as it's shutting down after 10 minutes of being on which was extremely insulting.

The "manager" knew very little about what work the technicians did or fixed. Nothing was documented, communication in English was a major barrier, I asked for a receipt to be emailed and I still don't have an invoice. I have a feeling these people are scammers using Christian symbols to create a false sense of trust, which is predatory and disgusting. I regret trusting these people with my...

My dad has been a customer here for a long time, when Amy worked there,they always called me when my computer was done, or if something else the find. Amy did a great job when she was there, the service has gone down hill. We brought our computer tower over last week, just wanted My email, Facebook. And other stuff put in.computer, and I checked on it last Friday, they said we will call you at 4 pm and no call from the software center, and Tuesday today we checked on the tower again. The lady that works front desk, has no clue about anything everytime we come in there. And told us that will call you at 4 pm today. No call again today, so mwe went over there and it was laying out on the front table. Some older man was working on it. Went home. We aren't comming back with the poor service. Got the tower home, nothing done on it, we are going somewhere else that is dependable, software center. I would not go to them, no communication...

I have very limited knowledge of computers. I called and spoke at length about getting a battery replaced in my laptop. They were very helpful, patient, and understanding of my situation. They gave me upfront pricing on the battery and installation charge. They delivered as promised on the time it would take to replace the battery. Everything went smoothly. I looked around the store while I waited. I knew nothing about any of it but I did ask what could I do to make this faster? They walked me through the options available and we decided to upgrade my drive and double the memory. OMG is my laptop awesome now. I can't even believe it. It's better than new. So worth it. Again they priced everything out to me in advance and did a really fast turn around time. Overnight and I had my computer back. I so highly recommend to he Technology Center. We will be using them everytime we need anything dealing with computers. Give them a call....
