Magic Noodle — Restaurant in Joplin

Got the lunch lo-mein, which is good. Not the issue. The issues were: 1st: Had my 2 year old son and even mentioned a kids menu. SThe guy at the counter said nothing. So I ordered regular size for my 2 yr old Come to find out they do have a kid's version with a drink. When I mentioned it right after I ordered, I was told the kid's version is smaller, and you can only get the kids drink that comes with it if you dine-in. Does not state that anywhere. Moving on. 2nd: Once food was finished and placed on the counter, it was ignored by the staff as I sit there and watched. 3rd: On lunch menu, it states lunch specials come with Spring roll and soup of the day. Get the food and no soup. I was then informed after looking that the soup is for dine-in only. Again, says nowhere and you still pay the same price. 4th: partly my fault for not looking, but I shouldn't have to being a pick-up order. Get it to the office, and behold, no utensils or soy sauce. I promised them a bad review so here it comes. It started with them bringing me rice instead of noodles, I asked to change and the young waitress ( the one with dark hair and blue eyes) said they're going to charge me $4 more just to change the rice to noodles, on the menu it says $10.95 so why do I need to pay extra $4?? I told her to take the plate back and I won't eat anything, my husband did. After the meal we got up to pay, I told the rude waitress that the review isn't going to be good, that I am very disappointed and not coming back. I was almost at the door when she rudely replied "we don't need you here, you don't have to come back!"... Young & rudely, she needs to learn customer service, she was out of place! The owner could have just replace the rice without charging me, wouldn't have cost them a dime. They need to be thankful someone is even entering the establishment, it was empty when we walked in, only one guy sitting there. Now they lost us as customers and I will tell all my friends not to go there!! Their attitude is...

Holy moly! How have I not been here before!! I had the pineapple cashew chicken plate(minus the onions and bell peppers) and it was SO WONDERFUL! The restaurant was 100% clean as far as I saw. When my guest and I walked through the door we were immediately greeted in an extremely polite manner. The food was hot and the flavors made such a beautiful dance in my mouth. I was shocked when our waiter came out with some kind of vegetable stock soup, I will admit I was very hesitant due to my hate for vegetables but, man, my doubts were absolutely blown away!! Kudos to the chef, the staff, and the owner. You have made yourself a fine establishment in my opinion! I will recommend to ANYONE! Also, they are vegan-friendly, which was a fantastic shock to me as well (even better for my vegan friend that was with me!) You definitely have a repeat customer on...
