We went to a game but had to leave early. While the field and facilities are nice, there’s a major issue in that if you need to leave while people are still arriving for the game, you will have no way out. Traffic arriving to the stadium took up both the incoming and outgoing lanes so it was physically impossible for us to leave. Nobody directing traffic maintained a safe way for a vehicle to leave the premises. It was literally impossible. We sat parked waiting for a chance to exit the parking lot for 20 minutes before a parking attendant noticed (at this point there were others behind us also waiting to leave) and directed us through the paved lot to an exit point closer to the actual exit to the road. Once we got there though we were blocked in by orange cones and nobody was coming to move them. We had to get out of the car and move the cones so we could drive out of the parking lot, and even then the incoming traffic was blocking our way out. All in all it took us roughly 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot and on the road. We will never be back due to this horrendous safety concern. God forbid there’s ever a medical emergency early in the game, you’d be SOL and have zero way of...
Read moreLove going to the baseball games and watching our FAVORITE team, the Kalamazoo Growler's!! Excellent way to spend a sunny day with good food, great baseball and I always see people I know here which makes it extra special! Staff is helpful and there isn't a "bad seat" in the house! For a really GREAT time, upgrade to the Party zone or one of their all-you-can-eat food packages! Fun, in-game entertainment and competitions and giveaways for the crowd. The players are always super nice and love giving autographs :). The team is committed to helping the community, offers baseball clinics for the Youth, offers many fundraising opportunities for local non-profits and provides merchandise for giveaways/silent auctions (as available). Excellent and highly...
Read moreI think I've posted previously on Homer Stryker Field (home of the Growlers). With the Covid-19 threat almost neutralized it was fun to enjoy a baseball game again. The staff of the Growlers really try to make experiencing a Growlers game a lot of fun and that do an excellent job. If I one criticism it would be to reduce the music between pitches. Walk up music is almost expected nowadays, but every pitch seems a bit much. That said, they do so many other things well and are very customer friendly. You may even get beer at half price if the right...
