I’ve been coming here for a while, and I’ve never had a bad experience — the ladies at the front desk are always kind, the facility is clean, and everything is well-organized. However, today I had the worst encounter with the staff member at the kids’ snack bar.
After my daughter finished playing, she wanted a cookie. I stood there calling out to the staff member, but she ignored me and acted as if she didn’t hear. One of the kind receptionists noticed and came over to ring the bell for assistance. When the snack bar attendant finally responded, she gave me a very unpleasant look and seemed visibly upset to be helping me.
I was shocked and upset. It’s frustrating to spend your hard-earned money at a place meant for families and feel disrespected. This isn’t the first time, either — just two days ago, I came to buy my daughter an ice cream, and the same staff member gave me the same cold, dismissive attitude.
At this point, I can’t help but wonder: is this treatment because of my race, my accent, or something else? No one should feel discriminated against, especially in a place designed for children and families. I’m deeply hurt and disappointed, because this is my daughter’s face indoor playground. Now I do not feel safe coming to such a place just to get dismissed and discriminated. I will never ever step my feet here and I will share my experience with each and every family member and friends I know with kids in this area so they can share with others around to save them from been treated bad by that lady. What a nasty person, I held my baby's number 1 birthday party there and it was only rude to all the guests and to me, I felt so sorry and ashamed with my guests. This lady when I went to make the reservation of the party promised many things that she did not fulfill, in the package they promised ice cream for my guests and she never gave them, she also told me that because it was the last hour of parties she would give me the party room until 8 and at 7 at night she took us all out in the most rude way without even allowing me to cut the cake and distribute it to my guests with peace of mind. With the peace of mind I deserved for having paid a high amount of money there. It was really very devastating for me, all my guests realized the rude attitude of this lady, I will share my experience with everyone. It is a very beautiful and incredible place for children, very clean and safe. But they should really improve their staff to people who really like working...
Read moreWe visited this indoor playground specifically for the train, which my child absolutely loves. We even drove 50 minutes just for this feature. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
One of the scheduled train rides was supposed to be at 7:00, but by 7:02, no staff had shown up. We checked with the front desk and were told that the staff was busy with other customers checking out (though it was just a couple of families), and that someone would come to run the train as soon as possible.
However, by 7:15, still no one had arrived. After checking again, we were told the next train wouldn’t be until 7:45. If that was the case, we should have been informed right away. Waiting 43 minutes is far from “as soon as possible,” especially when you have young children excited to ride.
The explanation that it was because the party group had left and there were fewer kids doesn’t make sense to me, as we were told at 7:02 it would be soon. Very frustrating experience overall, especially considering the distance...
