While visiting Kaua’i we came across the Kaua’i Island Crafters Fair near Princeville. All the people sell their arts & crafts were very personable and enjoying describing their crafts. Three Crafters really stood out. Marica had paintings of Hawaiian flowers and honos, along with thanks you cards with the cover using prints of her beautiful paintings. Teri made paintings using fibers from various local plants. Wanda & Edwina made hats, hono pillows and flower vases made out of lauhala leaves. Their hats were by far the best lauhala leaves hats we have ever seen. Our next visit to Kaua’i we will be attending a Kaua’i Island...
