Do not recommend! Charles needs to be fired. *writing on behalf of my daughtersâ experiences.
Our first experience getting permanent jewelry here was great. We saw Cassie and she took her time and made sure everything was perfect. The permanent jewelry is also very affordable compared to other places. That is was gets the 2 stars. We got two bracelets with charms on them that day. Two days later we came back because the bracelet fell off and Charles was there to fix it. First impressions were very friendly but borderline inappropriate with flirtatious winking, etc. He was very annoyed that he needed to fix it. Said it was our fault it broke even though it is supposed to be permanent. He is the owners boyfriend and he says it to everyone that walks in. You would think he would care for his girlfriendâs business enough to have the best customer service but that is not the case. The bracelet that broke was $89 for one chain and three charms. He did not place the charms evenly and we expressed how that bothered us and each time he would roll his eyes, make comments about how weâre being high maintenance, etc. I said we paid good money for it and itâs permanent so we would like it to be how we want it and he said âthatâs not how it works.â He took the bracelet off and the chain snapped and he then said âletâs just get you a new chainâ (which was nice) and then proceeded to fix it. Once it was completely fixed he said that will $30 for the 3 jump rings! Never told us it was going to cost anything to fix it. After expressing we didnât think that was fair he said âyouâre lucky I didnât charge you for the chain.â The jump ring didnât snap.. the chain did so why did we have to pay for the rings when those were intact and he was the one that broke them when he was trying to fix it?? Charging for a jump ring wasnât even a thing (he was trying to take advantage) because he had to charge us for a charm. Overall terrible customer service. When a customer comes in and is unhappy you do what it takes to make them happy - not make them feel bad, charge extra for every little thing ($10 for a jump ring?!). I have lots of experience with permanent jewelry as I had a few already and wouldnât recommend coming here...
Read morewanted to take a moment to commend the exceptional service I received at your shop recently. A few days ago, I found myself strolling past your charming shop and couldn't resist indulging in some window shopping. The following day, I had the pleasure of stepping inside and exploring your stunning jewelry collection in greater detail.
Having the opportunity to admire all the exquisite pieces, one particular item caught my eye â an adorable rainbow ring that instantly captivated me. I only wish I had more time to browse at my own pace without my husband's watchful eyes! Nevertheless, the experience was truly delightful.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Charles, who kindly assisted me during my visit. He was not only extremely friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about your work. Charles's amicable demeanor and enthusiasm were truly commendable. He even went out of his way to ensure that I could continue browsing your collection by discreetly offering me a business card.
Brianne, please convey my appreciation to Charles for being such an outstanding representative of your shop. His warm welcome and helpful nature left a lasting impression on me and truly enhanced my shopping experience.
Thank you once again for the wonderful experience at your shop. I look forward to visiting again soon and, hopefully, getting the chance to explore more of your...
Read moreIf youâre ever on Kauai, do not miss Brianne & Co.! My husband and I popped in a couple of times during our recent vacation, and wow, what an unforgettable experience. Charles is hands-down one of the most fun, personable, and hilarious people youâll meet. We spent so much time laughing and just BSâing with himâit felt like hanging out with an old friend who also happens to run an amazing jewelry shop.
Now onto the real starâBrianne. Sheâs insanely talented and designs all the jewelry herself, and trust me, her work is stunning. Every single piece feels so unique and thoughtful, and you can tell how much passion goes into her craft. Charles is so proud of her (as he should be), and itâs heartwarming to see the team they make.
I also got my first-ever permanent jewelry here (bracelets!) and couldnât be happier. Charles made sure they were sized perfectly for my wrist. Heâs such a pro and truly goes out of his way to make sure everything is just right. Itâs rare to find a shop with so much talent and such genuine, fun people running it.
Seriously, donât leave Kauai without stopping by Brianne & Co. for a piece of jewelry youâll treasure foreverâand an experience that will leave you smiling long after youâve left the island. Thank you, Charles and Brianne, for making our vacation so special!
See you in April on our next trip...
