After visiting multiple memory care facilities, Bayside Manor was by far the very best. It is family owned and operated and it shows. Anthony knows the guests by name and the guests all love him. He was patient and kind with my questions and worries. I didn’t feel I was being “sold” on the facility. The atmosphere, the many workers and guests sold the facility for him. I waited over six months to write this review. I wanted to let my emotions even out before writing. One emotion remains, I feel I made the right choice for my husband’s care, initially with the hope of recovery and through hospice care and his passing. I knew his nurses and aides by name. They work extremely hard at what they do. They take the time necessary with each guest. They took time each day to speak with me. The rooms and common areas were always clean as were the guests. The common area was bright and inviting. On a practical side, to enter the building you needed to sign in, have your temperature taken and complete a health questionnaire as to your symptoms. Masks were always worn. Before entering my husband’s room and after leaving I was instructed to wash my hands. I felt my husband was well taken care of at Bayside Manor. I was grateful there was one room open when we needed it as the facility is at capacity! Looking back, I know I did all I could for my husband’s care and was comfortable with everyone at Bayside Manor to take over. Do your homework, visit a few facilities, ask questions. Be sure to talk to Anthony at Bayside Manor! I thank them with the bottom...
Read moreMy Aunt has been a resident here for 18 months. I am very pleased with the level of care she receives as well as the cleanliness of the residents and the facility. The nurses (Althea and Trish) know the residents very well and treat them with kindness, compassion and respect. They are always available to speak with me about any concerns I have. Jessica, the activities person, is very kind and caring. Three outstanding aids (Mariah, Matalia, and Malasia) in my Aunt’s section are just OUTSTANDING and treat the residents in their care like family members. This is the third facility my Aunt has been to in the last five years. I highly recommend this facility where the owners are on staff every day and available to discuss any...
Read morei worked here for two months no call outs & was picking up shifts on my day off. the owner showed no compassion for the nurses in charges speaking to the other employees like they are trash, to top it off one of the girls cursed at me in front of the patients & turned it & told the director of nurses that i threatened in which i did not, when i applied for unemployment due to them wrongfully terminating me, they lied to unemployment & told them they fired me because i was not attending to my residents when i indeed was. the job is terrible they pay you so little & expect so much of you. 0/10 do not recommend as a job or bringing loved ones here because they yell scream & slam the residents in the beds when they aren’t...
