Tullo Truck Stop — Attraction in Kearny

Pay to park, which I guess is standard in the eeast, except they watch the parkinglot and wait until you've been parked for a few hours to come over and tell you that. The only place it is advertised as paid parking is at the fuel desk. Its not worth the $11 to stay in a parkinglot that smells like urine and has more trash than an episode of Hoarders. Also, few parking spaces and those that exist are taken up by dropped trailers. It does say dropped trailers will be towed, but I guess they're less specific on timing for that.

All in all the worst small-business truck stop I've been to. Only redeeming point: Mexican food in the building, and I'm not at all sure what the food would be like considering the state of the...

I'm a lease op for a large company. We can fuel whereva we want. This is Newark and I understand the pay for parking deal, which is why I would never patronize this establishment but owner seems to respond to the favorable reviews and ask for the negative reviewers to call for private convo. Almost every complaint is of the same nature; rude employees and misinformation... it's simple Mr.. Owner, have a talk wit or get rid of disrespectful employees. Obviously the private calls you are requesting from driver's are just to pacify them.. Also drivers, stop patronizing businesses that takes you for granted. Fuel at big box truckstops. Atleast u get something for ur $$$$; i.e. points, free parking,...

Update: I have fueled many times, but this time. I went to wash my clothes and trying to take a shower. But I was denied by a heavy set lady a shower I was driving my car this time, because I had my truck in the shop. I have my Tullo fuel card. It was a very disappointed situation. I don't understand why they have this policy to people who doing businesses with them. I thought Tullo truck stop cared about the hard working truckers who bring and take freight around the country. Clean place, showers, food. Parking is not free for trucks. $12 for 12 hours. Tullo truck stop has Laundry. At $1.50 per load. Good place to rest and...
