If you come during the 'Great Oregon Stream Up' event there's almost countless things to do. To the immediate left of the entrance is a set of bleachers for watching the tractor parades. Farther left is Willow Creek Railroad, a 1/8th scale model railroad that offers free rides. Heading away from the entrance on the left you'll find a shack serving hotdogs and the like, an old fashioned store, and, finally a large flea-market containing a plethora of interesting antiques. It should be noted that on the other side of willow creek is a stop for the trolley line, but I don't think you can buy tickets there, so you'd be better off trying at the main station. Heading strait from the entrance you'll find a collection of mini machines. Farther on you'll get too several craft shops such as blacksmithing add wood working. To the right is a working steam sawmill (pictured below) that has shows every half-hour. Outside is amazing ice cream made with steam power. Sometimes a group that has military vehicles also sets up outside. On the right of the sawmill is the trolly station that was made from wood cut at the sawmill. Heading further up and right from there is an antique car museum, fire truck museum, steam crane display and food carts. Restrooms are located to the right of the enterance and near the station. There's a ton more stuff beyond that, but my thumb is...

I love coming to this place. I have been coming here for the better part of ten years and have never been disappointed. The great Oregon SteamUp is typically the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August each year but this year they did the last two weekends of July. There's something here for everyone. For those who enjoy a mechanical engineering, seeing the designs and operation of equipment from a century ago and beyond is worthwhile. For the kids there's the model railroad that they can ride on and enjoy going on it over and over and over again. Or the misting stations were the kids can get wet. Oh and don't forget the ice cream and the snow cones and the food and the great people. There are also a variety of Raffles and other events. We have won a raffle a couple of times over the years. There is a kid's tractor pull, there's an adult Tractor Pull and there is a Passport program where kids can go from venu to venue learning about different things on the property all while collecting little badges and pins and then get entered into a raffle of their own for participating. You can camp here in the tent or an RV and the price at $15 for an adult is very reasonable to be able to spend the whole day here. We look forward to coming back next year and enjoying all the other activities and events they hold here throughout the year including...

Amazing place! Building after building, lots of big outdoor exhibits, various sizes of model trains, from tiny to ride on live steam, full size electric trolley, logging, trucks, tractors, old hit or miss gas engines running, steam tractors and a steam sawmill, etc etc etc.

Come for the summer Great Oregon Steam Up last weekend of July and first weekend of August and see lots of steam powered engines and tractors driving around, tractor pulls from garden tractors to caterpillar tractors to steam traction engines, and acres of display and running hit or miss and other engines, restored and hand built. Logging displays and demonstrations, and many other things in didn't even get to!

There's a giant swap meet in the back, food, fun, did I mention lots of old steam equipment running? Lol

Camping sites available. Truck stop across the street. Or call and ask if they have...
