Al Lease Park — Attraction in Kent

A nice little park. Beautiful landscape. A nice pond. A little playground and soccer field. A trail around the pond and some hidden trails in the woods. Two shelters and a public restroom. You can hike, ride a bike, BBQ, or sit on the swing. But this park needs serious maintenance. Ducks and geese poops are everywhere. I stepped on dog poop in the grass one time, too. Don’t recommend bringing your dog here. Was walking my 100 lb German shepherd and 2 pit bulls came out of no where off their leash up to us and did not seem friendly. It took at least 5 whole minutes for their owners to come and get them while I’m trying to hold back 3 big dogs from each other. Luckily no one got hurt but I definitely will not be coming...

Nice little secluded park with scenic water view. Parking lot in The Lakes at Franklin Mills development is a minute or two walk on a gravel path.
