Living in Cliffwood Beach for 9 years we could see the marina and pier from our house. I spent many days with my granddaughters or by myself watching the boats and people fishing off the pier and boardwalk area at the marina. On the other side where the boat ramp is there is a tiny beach (not for swimming or sunbathing, but great for toddlers who like to pick up tiny shells), a picnic area and swings. This is where we spent most of the time. Whenever we got fast food we would go to the marina and have a picnic. It was nice when they were young. Whenever I am in the area I still go to Keyport. I sit in my car look at the boats and listen to the birds...it's really pretty at sunset...
