I have to this place five times in the last 11 years. I have watched this place fall way down below their original standards. It use a wonderful place to come with the family. Now they are charging outrageous resort fees that they do not deliver on. Yes, they have a theater that they only show old movies and the seats are so worn out that that back was hurting by the time we left. Yes, there is a bowling alley here but it is hard to find the people that run it bc they hide in an office on the other side of the room. Yes, they have an arcade but half the machines do not work. Yes, the have 5 pool tables but 2 have large rips in the greens and 1 table is leaning. They are suppose to have an indoor mini golf, laser tag, and ice skating rink plus tennis courts. Unfortunately, they had a gun show the week I came and they did one poor job putting the room back together. In fact, for the whole week after, only one tennis court got put up and 6 out of 9 mini golf courses for put up in an extremely dirty room. No indoor skating rink, no laser tag. For this I had to pay twenty-five dollars a day extra resort fees. If you had a 2 bedroom it would have double that. Like it said, the main pool was shut down the last 2 days. I gave this 2 stars bc the people are very nice and really try to help but their hands are tied. Bel Air, who bought it out, is trying to get the people who come to pay for the repairs instead of investing it themselves. The mgr did give us free water park tickets to try and make up for the horrible fees they are charging. It is unfortunate but I will probably not be back. It is a beautiful area and, at one time, a beautiful resort...

This is the worst place to visit, the staff is very rude the room they gave me and my teen daughter is very isolated, when I ask for an upgrade or refund or change my room they say they are unable to do that and the phone in the room is not even working there is absolutely no one around the area we are staying in. There was a girl that was one of the leader of the hotel that was so rude and was like “if we want to stay, stay and if we don’t, we should leave.” The service is very bad and I recommend no one to stay here if you are concerned for your safety. They do not want to give us a refund and we spent so much money, where do they expect us to go with no money. They do not care for neither me or my daughter’s safety at all. You are not even getting signal at the back here if there’s...

This resort under new management is terrible. The amenities are either broken or missing equipment (pool table balls, ping pong balls, bowling only have 2 lanes working out of 8. No hand towels, tissues, iron/iron board in room, waited 3 hrs before receiving those items. I waited 35 minutes just to check in. The water park open only on certain days & times. The Thanksgiving meal at the Bistro was not monitored so the small children was grabbing food w/hands, lucking the cheese tray and putting it back on the dishes. This was not a happy Thanksgiving, I wasted my monies and time. Don't vacation here, not worth your...

Do Not Enter sign at entrance is odd while gate is open and tracks from vehicles are prevalent throughout grounds. No other signs identifying Nature Preserve could be found. Also, reportedly, there's a memorial plaque on rocks near split but, did not see it. Dilapidated poles, cables, etc from previous skiing lift are still on hillside. .... After autumn leaves have shed, view from observation deck can be hundred plus miles.

Neat local rock formation, but not really much to see or do. You can't see much over the trees once at the top, and there isn't a lot in the surrounding area to really check out. It'll take you all of 15 minutes tops to check out, but if you're staying in the neighborhood, it's worth the few minute drive. Otherwise, I'd pass.
