Food was actually pretty great, highly recommended to eat here vs other places in the area. Cant say the same about the service though. Very slow and lack of care. Needed refills constantly had to wave someone down, plates kept stacking higher and higher meanwhile our server came back asking if we wanted to order more food to presumably trying to increase our tab. There was no "hey hows the food" or "hey can I remove some plates for you guys?". We stacked our plates ourselves trying to create more room to eat. Our server michelle was very friendly just a tad slow for not having a high crowd. Restaurants are maxed at 25% and we were the last 2 tables. She was really nice so maybe just a tough day.. The cake for the birthday was nice so that was awesome. Like i mentioned, zero i mean absolutely zero complains about food really great but service needs to pick up. Potentially a wonderful 5 but for now a...

Very rude staff! When we entered through the main door, we waited for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged, even though the dining area was empty and only a few people were at the bar. Finally, a rude server walked by, and when we asked if this was the Lake Grill, he curtly said no, this is the Lake Tavern, and told us to go out and walk around.

We did as he said and came in through the back door, which seemed to lead to the same place. A guest informed us that the place had been renamed. Eventually, someone in charge of the resort greeted us and told us to wait, but none of the servers acknowledged us. After waiting for another 5 minutes, we left and did not return.

Horrible staff! You're better off leaving the resort and visiting Nick's Lake House, where you'll be warmly greeted, enjoy a great view, and have delicious food. Never...

A Hidden Gem at Split Rock Resort! Looking to try something different? The Mexican restaurant at the main lodge in Split Rock Resort, Lake Harmony, is a must! I was truly waited on by angels tonight—my server and the chef were both named Angel, and they delivered exceptional service with a personal touch.

Chef Angel brought out my food himself, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I had the steak tacos and ceviche nachos—both were absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick, warm, and attentive.

This spot can be busy during peak season, but if you visit in the off-season, you’ll enjoy a quieter atmosphere and even more personalized service. The view of the lake in the evening is breathtaking. Definitely a hidden gem worth...

Had the Saturday night buffet. Options included these amazing grilled veggies, rice pilaf, a dish with cod and tuna poached with pineapple, chicken marsala, pot roast, penne and vegetarian marinara, macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers, a variety of fresh rolls, as well as Caesar salad, 3 bean salad, a creamy/cheesy broccoli salad, and a fresh cucumber salad. There were also 4 desserts to choose from: a German chocolate cake, a chocolate- chocolate cake, carrot cake, and apple pie. The dining room was a bit stuffy, but the patio overlooking the lake was gorgeous. Servers were running around (isn't everyone really feeling the worker shortage these days?), but they made a great effort. We spent about $100 with 2 adults, 2 kids, and 4 glasses of wine.

We been here 3 times already. The food is delicious! We came to celebrate Mother’s Day . We came for brunch all they have is basic breakfast which is delicious! When I talked to them the night before who ever I talked to on the phone said they are having lobster. We have kids that is hungry I forgot to ask them about it. We waited 1 hour for our food. Kids is getting restless. How ever I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen? As soon as we get our food everyone’s food starts coming out also. The staff is really nice !
