The high points- The food and the waitress!!! I got the cheesesteak, always a must in PA even if you are not in Philly. Actually I appreciate a cheesesteak better when I don’t have to worry about how to order it correctly!! I was very pleased with my sandwich and the homemade chips with Old Bay were delicious! My mother got a medium rare burger it was cooked perfectly and the fries were great! Our waitress was very sweet and we watched her dote on her regulars knowing just what they wanted and it was nice to observe. Her service was perfect with us but it is always nice to see waitstaff interact with their regulars. I worked upstairs almost 40 years ago and people in this area are dedicated to their favorite eating establishments. Building rapport is so Important.

Low points-as stated above, I worked upstairs in the main dining room almost 30 years ago, unfortunately I don’t think the carpeting in the hallways to the restrooms has been changed since. It felt very much like “The Shining” I thought the twins were going to be at the end of the hall.

Outside in the patio there was a lot of unused “stuff” standing lanterns, a dirty dilapidated grill and a pizza oven. Sell it, store it or dump it don’t just leave it as an eyesore.

I hope this place can get back to its glory days because it was such a beautiful resort!! It needs a lot of TLC now. I would definitely return! The food...

Came here last year a bunch of times before the shut down last year had a great time. Went there Saturday night to the outside bar was there about 15 to 20 minutes. The two bartenders never ask us if we wanted something to drink or acknowledge us at all so we left. While we were there other people came after we were already there and they were asked if they wanted something. So we went down the road to the BVT sat at the bar and was asked if wanted something to drink in...

Not sure what this place was like in the past, but since its re-opening inflate 2019, it is great. The food is quite good. I highly recommend the Prime Rib sandwich. Saturday nights now have live bands making it a Saturday night hot spot. Although this is located at Split Rock Resort, it is open to the public. Get out and check...
