Terrible Experience at Lake Washington Dermatology
I recently had an incredibly disappointing visit to Lake Washington Dermatology, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience. The clinic failed to get the pricing right, and the doctor's behavior was unprofessional and rushed, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a patient.
Firstly, the issue with pricing was a major letdown. Despite providing them with all the necessary information beforehand, the clinic still couldn't get it right. It was frustrating to deal with their incompetence and lack of attention to detail. This alone should have been a red flag.
My disappointment continued when I met the doctor. Doctor petal seemed disinterested and in a hurry. There was no introduction or attempt to establish a rapport. Instead, he bluntly asked, "What are you doing today?" or something along those lines. His lack of professionalism and basic courtesy left a lasting negative impression.
Throughout the appointment, the doctor's behavior remained unengaged and dismissive. It felt like he didn't want to be there, and his lack of enthusiasm for his work was evident. I expected a higher level of care and attentiveness from a medical professional, but sadly, that was not the case.
To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction to the supervisor, their response was shockingly unprofessional and rude. Instead of addressing my concerns and attempting to rectify the situation, they simply canceled my account without any apology or attempt to retain me as a patient. This lack of customer service and disregard for patient satisfaction was truly disheartening.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of Lake Washington Dermatology. The unprofessional and rude behavior exhibited by both the doctor and the supervisor, coupled with their inability to get pricing correct, make this clinic an undesirable choice for any dermatological needs. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reputable and patient-focused...

On the day of, I asked again for a quote, and i was given the same general ball park, so I was fine to proceed. I started to fill out a patient form, which asked for insurance and I left blank. They said they could not proceed without this info because they needed it in case something went wrong, which was unlikely, but still required. So I proceed.
It was a simple it seemed. Fast forward a couple of months, they apparently sent a bill to my insurance and performed all these lab tests of which I had no knowledge. And I received no lab documents or anything so when i called to ask what happened, they said they'd send me something. It was a simple letter on their letterhead, two sentences long, that in non-medical language basically said "we ran a lab test on your mole and you're good--nothing to worry about". I requested official lab paperwork, since they insisted on billing me. I gave up after asking 4 times over 6 weeks. Even the insurance company or my fsa did not accept their documentation as adequate and both were denied as meeting the bar for medical expenses. It ended up costing me 2.5 time the cost I was quoted. And the dr could never take my call -- they leave their poor receptionist to do the dirty work. So not...

What I'm complaining about is their disorganization when it comes to billing. I was harassed by their outsource billing company for months over a bill which I paid through my provider. I called my provider to get all the details of the payment and gave it to them but they kept calling me about the bill. This must have happened at least 4 times over several months.
It didn't stop there as Lake Washington Dermatology's billing person called asking for payment and threaten to send it to collections and give me a bad credit rating if I didn't pay. I told her again I gave the information to their billing department and asked if she actually read any details from my record. She had not and said she will get back to me.
After that she called and said it was taken care of now as they messed up. Then the outsourced billing company called and said it was taken care of.
They lack the skills to manage your payments and it can't be blamed on the outsourced company as their own billing person threaten me with collections.
It gave me a lot of headaches and anxiety to be threaten with collections and bad credit score. I would highly recommend people not to go here as there are lots of other...
