This is a fairly scenic bridge that connects the state of Maine to New Hampshire. The span is not very long, in definitely been on longer bridges. The appeal of this bridge for me is the architecture. This thing was erected in the middle of pristine open territory. The landscape when this thing was built, I am almost sure, was barely touched by man’s destructive hand. I draw that conclusion from the remnants of the barely untouched landscape today. A friend and I drove from Connecticut and when i crossed this bridge, the view almost took my breath away.
