Mitch Franklin Park — Attraction in Knob Noster

The playground area for kids is pretty good, and the baseball field is real good, but the skatepark is completely neglected, some of the obstacles are totally broken and unskateable and the ground has so many cracks and rocks and pebbles everywhere making the ground itself nearly unskateable. Also the basketball "course" is in the skate park which is super annoying because the skate park could be much bigger and have more stuff but half the space is for basketball making the skate section much smaller than it should be. Overall I think they need to fix, and remake the skatepark and make it an actual skatepark. I live right next to it and I'd rather drive 30 minutes to the next skatepark instead of walking three minutes to the one right next to me because...

It was a nice clean park. I wasn't that familiar with this area at the time that I was watching my grandson here, but having to take my kids to softball and baseball games for 28 years at our park I've definitely been to a lot of different ones. I would most certainly have to tell you that this park is one of more nicer ones I have seen....

This is a great local park. There are softball fields to watch the local school games and a playground for the kids to play. It would be great for a family picnic under the small pavilion. Oh and there's a small skatepark that I plan on using to teach my kids how to ride...
