We were so excited to try this place! We walked in, and were told that our party of 8, 2 kids and 6 adults couldn’t sit at the same table, but we could sit next to each other. We asked if an exception could be made, and the host said she couldn’t tell us not to move the tables. We sat down and started looking at the menu, although they had lots of menu items only some were offered for breakfast, the cake your tail feather, in the featured eats section, pancakes and chicken, it was not offered. If there is only some items not offered for breakfast, that should be stated somewhere, or our waitress should have told us or maybe have a separate menu all together We ordered several menu items, and were very disappointed. For the kids I ordered 2 short stacks, with chocolate chips, they were terrible, tasted like semi sweet chocolate chips, they were on the smallest little plate and they were not fluffy, but flat and sad. The skillets didn’t come with all the things that were mentioned in the menu. No vegetables at all, the steak in the barn buster was too hard to eat, and everything was flavorless. The scotch eggs were hard boiled; and in my experience they should be slightly runny. The smoked brisket on Benny and the meat sweats was so hard and fatty that most of it was inedible. The flappin the bird was so small, tiny pieces of chicken and the pancakes were tiny flat and tasteless. By far the best part about the meal was the company and the waitress who was very thoughtful. At the end of the meal, we took another look at the menu and found we were charged for toppings, and given a “kids short stack” which cost the same as a short stack on the a la cart menu. I would not recommend eating here, dennys would have been much better.

I am visiting from out of state and was really impressed with Olde Town South. The staff was kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We loved all the apps we ordered (Hot Swine Bling, Taters Gonna Tate, Bang-Bang Shrimp, and Smoked Elote Dip). “Taters Gonna Tate” was a fan favorite. I split the “Bronson Burger” and “Meatia Relations” with a friend and both hit the spot. The “Brisket Chili” was so tender and hearty, I loved it. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor. We definitely didn’t leave hungry! Make sure to save room for dessert — the bread pudding is incredible. It’s sweet but balanced and has the perfect texture. Sad that I won’t have easy access to it lol. It’s worth noting that I work in PR and appreciated the unique menu items and the fun play on words. I couldn’t pass up “Meatia Relations” for that reason! You can tell there was a lot of thought and care that went into curating the menu. That’s not something you see often. Overall, I highly recommend it!

First of all, let's talk about the service...hands down this was the greatest service ever. The bartenders, the wait staff, the chefs and kitchen staff were phenomenal! I ordered a margarita and it was brought out by the bartender. He wanted to make sure it was good! It was a little sweet to me but still good. Then we were checked on by another staff member to try a blue tequila. Which was amazing!!!! I will come back just to get another shot of that. That was just awesome service as well. We read a few reviews but I wanted to try it for myself. My spouse and I both got burgers. I had the Animal burger with regular fries and he had the Garage burger with Cajun fries. I would definitely go for the Cajun fries. They are delicious 🤤. Overall, I would go back, specially based on the service we received. Order the Cajun fries 🍟!!!!

It's a shame having to leave this review, because I live in Knob and my husband and I were looking forward to this place being open. Upon visiting the place we waited 15mins to be sitted and there was plenty of empty tables. My husband and I were greeted by a very nice waiter who gave us the menu. The menu is extensive and awkward and the prices are pretty high. Our order took about 45mins to be out and my husband's Mac n Cheese not only was cold and lumpy, but there was barely any brisket in it (let's not even talk about his side salad that never came). My sandwich was warm to cold and there was more lettuce than chicken to it. The Cajun French fries were probably the best thing about what we ordered. So, my husband tells the waitress about the food and she takes it away to be "fixed", but he decided he just didn't wanna wait 45mins again. Nonetheless, some mins later the Mac n Cheese is back and my husband reassured he didn't want it, so the lady who brought it takes it back. Then, our former waitress shows up again and after insisting a lot she convinces my husband to at least take the dish home. Fast forward ten more minutes and she comes back saying that it was thrown away, which only tells me that the communication issues among the staff are no joke! At some point a lady who works there, but didn't really identified herself, brought us two coupons for a free appetizer and a free pancake for our troubles, but mind you, the coupons couldn't be used in that same day.

In a nutshell, it was a waste of time, money, patience and appetite. I really wanted to like that place, but unfortunately the only good thing about it was...

Easily the worst $50 I’ve ever spent on a meal. They brought out half the parties food COLD, then said they were still preparing the other half. 20 minutes later, the other half of the parties’ food came out also cold.

The servers seemed uninterested in fixing their many mistakes. My father in law ordered a medium well steaks and received his steak rare, mooing even. He expressed his discontent with said steak, but declined to wait for another to be cooked in the interest of time. To which the server replied, “if you are happy, I am happy”

The restaurant was dirty and there were by my count 10 flys flying around. The bartenders served me a beer in a glass, that I watched them pour from a can. In fact, they don’t have a single beer on tap, everything was poured from a can or bottle.

Our server was nice, but she failed to rectify the situation in a professional manner. Additionally, after we asked for the checks, it took half an hour for them To be delivered at our table. Keep in mind, there was maybe 2 other parties in the restaurant. Her coworker, a young man, had a very sarcastic and passive-aggressive tone when delivering the food, as if we were inconveniencing him.

The chicken and pancakes that I ordered were horrible. The pancakes were actually the highlight of the meal, but the chicken tender tasted like it had never had a seasoned moment in its tenure. Very very bland, like dino nuggets from the freezer.

All in all, I wouldn’t come back here to receive cold, bland food with a side of unprofessionalism and sarcasm. If this is the best Knob Noster has to offer, I will be going to Warrensburg until y’all open a...
