AMAZING products, CARING staff, and LOCAL store with endless options! The moment you walk into Kimballs you are greeted by a friendly and smiling staff. You do not feel any "sales pressure" while browsing all of their beautiful jewelry. Yet an associate is right there to answer any questions you might have and will encourage you to try on ANYTHING! There are so many options whether you are looking for a small gift for someone special, a wedding band for a loved one, a customized piece of jewelry, or an every day accessory! I would highly recommend Lauren Rhodes for any of your needs! She is very professional and can style you based on your taste, preference, and budget. She will make sure every need you have is met! I have purchased a David Yurman ring with her assistance and also browsed for engagement rings before my Fiancé made his purchase! During my first experience at Kimballs, Lauren helped me decide between shape and style for my David Yurman ring based on what I normally wear. I was between two stones, and she guided me in the right direction. I was also between sizes, and she encouraged me to have the ring re-sized a little bit larger since it was winter (I'm so glad I did)! She had it re-sized within one day and let me as soon as it was ready! When I came to the store to pick it up, I didnt expect for it to be wrapped in a box so nice! It was like opening up my own surprise :) The entire experience with my "splurge" purchase from start to finish made me feel so special! I then came back to the store and asked for Lauren when it was time to make my "wish list" for my engagement ring! Lauren was so helpful and extremely patient, letting me try on practically every ring in the store! She knew my style and had everything ready for my Fiancé when he was ready to come in! She knew that I wanted to be surprised by the ring and showed him many other rings that weren't on my wish list that fit the same style that I liked. With her assistance, he found the most PERFECT ring that I am absolutely in LOVE with. Lauren had made a note of my ring size from my other ring so I was able to wear it without any re-sizing from the moment he proposed! I have been in several times to have the ring cleaned and can't wait to go back and pick out his wedding band. I forgot to mention that Kimballs did a wonderful Fathers Day giveaway for some elegant Konstantino cuff links that I won unexpectedly. My dad absolutely loves them and can't wait to walk me down the aisle with them on! I can't say enough great things about Kimballs and their staff! Every experience has been TOP NOTCH! I HIGHLY...
Read moreMy wife and I visited Kimball’s yesterday to service her wedding ring. It couldn’t have been a more delightful experience. The staff was amazing beginning with Jessica who offered us both a genuine smile when we entered the store and little later a great cup of coffee as Michaela consulted with my wife about her ring. Michaela was such a pro and patiently answered every question my wife had. We also met the perfectly charming store manager, Alexander, who is way cooler than I am. I also had the chance to speak at length with the CEO, Danny Overbey. His passion for client service is unimpeachably authentic and it showed throughout our time there. Everybody we encountered treated us as if we were the most important clients in the shop but at the same time there was never any upselling or pressure to buy anything. In fact, they wound up providing a couple of free services which we hadn’t anticipated. (And did I mention the great cup of coffee?) We’ve traveled quite a bit and have been in some very high-end establishments. If you have, too, you know the “look” the salesclerks give you when you walk in the door and assess your potential for a big sale—or not. The atmosphere in Kimball’s proved just the opposite even though they offer the highest quality jewelry and related services. It was clear to us that everybody we encountered was truly interested in serving our needs which is why we will be visiting there again soon. If you haven’t been there for a while, be sure to stop back in—you’ll be amazed at the experience. If you’re just beginning your search for that perfect engagement ring or flawless strand of pearls for your next anniversary present, do yourself a huge favor and put Kimball’s on your list to visit first. Honestly, you can buy almost any piece of jewelry anywhere, including online. But if something goes wrong? Well, good luck with that. On the other hand, if you want a genuinely relational experience with a local jeweler you can trust to help you find exactly what you need and the customer service to support it, Kimball’s is the...
Read moreHorrible Experience!! Don't waste your time! I have tried working with Kimball's to have a custom class ring made for my son. It has been 3 months of going back and forth, waiting weeks for an answer. Their designer, who customers are not allow to talk to, kept making a ring for a female. I keep sending examples of traditional men's rings saying I want the same basic structure and size, and that it needs to be a MAN's ring. They keep sending female rings, but with enough changes that I know my info had been passed on at least somewhat. At one point I made it a priority that they need to get the size of the stone correct, knowing that will force the ring to be more wide like a male's ring. The size of the stone had been mentioned previously and had been in all of the pictures. I was so frustrated! Well they make the ring wide, but also very thick, an obviously distorted ring. It had 50% more gold that a normal class ring, so I was not happy. So finally they tell me they cannot make a class ring look like everyone else's class ring because it is a copyright infringement. I have pretty much been told that they don't want to work with me since I care about getting what I asked for. I have since talked to other jewelers that say slight modifications will give us the ring we want and without a copyright issue. I am so mad that I wasted so much time with Kimball Jewelers.
Google does not seem to let me respond so I will add more. NEVER did we say we would order the rings. None of them. Your designer was making girls rings for a boy!! Of course we didn’t like them. Sure the 2 logos were done well but that is all. Simple things like making the stones the right size were not even done until the end when he made a ring with too much metal. If they could not make the class ring images we sent then he should have said so, other than altering them in feminine ways. And we never did change our design but only asked for the rings to be like the pictures sent…MENS rings. You are unethical to lie...
