Bearden Hill Fieldhouse — Restaurant in Knoxville

Came here last night. Paid cash for a Diet Coke and asked server to put my friend’s 2 drinks on my tab and gave her my card. Ordered one more drink for her at the bar. Went to close tab & the entire table was on my tab ($80+). Tried to tell bartender which items were mine & he told me he can’t take anything off unless everyone brings him a card. Sorry, is it my job to collect payment? And since everything else on the tab was ordered before I got there, whose tab were they sticking it on before I handed them a card? I’ve been to plenty of bars & was never told such a thing before. Luckily someone from the table came up and gave a card. My tab was still wrong but I just paid it anyway since those drinks were consumed by my friends & bartender clearly didn’t care about accuracy. Server was overall inattentive. When my friend went to close her tab, she tried to tell them 2 of those drinks she was being charged for were not hers either. Someone else at the table tried to claim them. Server says “sorry the bartender said you’re all on one tab.” We never said that, because we weren’t. Instead of splitting the bill correctly, they tell my friend the tab is taken care of. Today I have 2 separate charges on my card. One is the charge I agreed to pay, the second is not any amount I agreed to pay ($11.29). I’ll be calling my bank to reverse this once it goes through. Overall bad attitude, lazy service, and tried to be forced to pay an entire table of drinks that I never agreed to pay for. We really love this place! I swear to you if you go here you have to get the Big Kahuna Burger. I have dreams about this burger, I'm telling you. When I want a burger this is the only one I think about. Their appetizers are also spectacular. The staff is really nice and attentive, but it is a smoking bar so if that bothers you it may not be the place for you. They do have a non-smoking section but the smoke travels obviously. They did add a ton of golf games and things like that to the smoking section which seemed to be utilized, but they had to take out some seating because of that which I'm not really a fan of. They did add some pool tables upstairs, but I didn't see if they still had shuffleboard which we love! They have made some upgrades recently and overall I'm pleased with them. But that...

The bar tender was a douche. I asked for 2 dozen wings got a lecture on how they weigh them by the pound... Who does that.. There chicken wings not crab legs.. Waited with my now cooked wings for almost 5 mins before the bartender came over and half assed finishing up the order transaction he was more concerned with other people at the bar than my order.. Once I got home and was about to eat I was suddenly surprised with two orders of wings for a kids meal .i mean these wings were so small my 6 year old ate both orders and was still hungry for more I just ordered something else at a different restaurant so I did have to waste me time with those pathetic sized wings..
