Soccer Taco — Restaurant in Knoxville

Ordered carry out with family that came into town to visit , and not only did they say it would take 15 to 20 min. And we showed up in 25 min , then they said it would be another 5 min. And it took 20 more min, only to come home and they didnt have the order right so not only did we wait an extra 20 minutes for our food they also messed up our order, and the meat was hard as a rock and the food that we did get, 2 orders were wrong, and no we shouldnt have to check our order, thats not our job were not on the soccer taco pay roll we were customers that definitely will never go back nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone, checking the food before it goes out the door is soccer tacos job, thats their workers job to double check and make sure the food matches the receipt, that's not going out of their way thats just doing their job and its simple, and if they use the excuse that they were really busy or its my responsibility to check the order then maybe you guys can't handle busy bussiness and maybe this isn't the industry for you, I'm upset because I wasted $80 and my time thinking I was going to have a nice last dinner with my family before they left town, out of 4 resturaunts we tried this weekend soccer taco by far was the WORST! If you want to wait forever in a overly crowded place only to get the wrong food this is the place for you, if you want to have a good Mexican meal experience, this isnt the place to get it at , I wish I had more thumbs, so i could give this place 4 thumbs down! Service was hot garbage and the food was hot garbage. Id rather go to a taco truck. Thanks for nothing...

I’m only giving this place two stars because I have had good experiences in the past. I had a friend who just moved to town and we ate here last week and LOVED IT!!! However, this time was not a great experience. My family ordered food online and I go inside to pick it up. I was told that they didn’t have the food in their system. I understand systems glitch. I proceed to provide proof of payment and the order being for their location. I was basically met with a we don’t care attitude and then had two checks for the food (I ALREADY PAID FOR) shoved in my face. I was then told to dispute it with my bank and to pay again if I wanted the food. I’ve managed a restaurant in the past and there are ways for a check to be comped in systems (I did it all the time). However, instead of helping me they made it very evident they do not care. I loved this location because it was close to my home and I was always taken care of. After the experience I had this evening, I will not go back. I understand people are only doing their job but unfortunately part of service jobs are correcting mistakes. I 100% recommend the food and margs but just note that if you have an issue they most likely will...

We came here to eat yesterday as soon as we walked in the host barely greeted us she then takes us to our table we sit down and it’s past 5-10 minutes and a server hasn’t greeted us yet when the server finally gets to our table he doesn’t introduce himself he just asks us what we want to drink and if we’re ready to order we place our order and then our food comes out he doesn’t ask if we need anything else he just walks away. my dad accidentally spilled his drink we were trying to find our server to see if he could bring us something to wipe down the table it took our server around 5-10 minutes again to check on us and ask if we were doing okay obviously not. we asked him if he could bring us something to wipe down the table he goes and gets something he doesn’t even ask my dad if he wants a refill since his drink fell down he just asks us if we want boxes which we say no because our overall experience was just horrible with this server.
