This place is ridiculous there use to be a girl their name Jaquel the kids use to love her and they uses to come in and ask for her all the time she was a smart girl and she love kids when I see her on days I came in you can see she was ready to work and just have fun with the kids she even taught my kids how to read and pronouns things and how to walk my kids started walking because of her and they fire her 5years back all because of a manner that the main boss hired there the main boss was trying to cover up the fact that the manner that uses to be there was raciest to her peoples was lying on her, and employees was writing her up for no reason and none of them write ups was not true yeah maybe she was on her phone at one point but she got her job done and also the manner that uses to be there was calling her the N word non-stop. I heard her call that poor girl that word when I was there on different days I didn't have to work and having other employer follow her to the bathroom and anywhere, she went. I am not saying I don't like the muse at all. I am saying that Ya'll employers and the main boss need to take responsibilities for your actions and how Ya'll treat people the way that poor girl was treated was ridiculous and was not right. That girl was a hard worker, and she was all ways at work when I came to the muses with my kids Ya'll need more people like her because she actually cares about the kids and how they learn she would go everywhere with my kids in the muse, and they would just have a blast and they would laugh and just have a great time together we miss her so much being there yawl should've kept her there she deserve it and I don't know what yawl pay was but she should've been making at least 15 or 17 she was a got damn good teacher and a playdate for my kids my kids always wanted playdates with her. Sorry for...
Read moreTook my daughter to Muse for her birthday Saturday. We checked in with the friendliest lady you'd ever want to meet. We were 14th in line to get in and play. You have a thing they text you on your phone that counts down. This was helpful as my toddlers wanted in desperately. It occupied them for a bit until they got bored with it. It took an hour to get in and it was trying with the kids. Once inside my daughters had a blast. There is so much to do and experience. A space shuttle, sandbox, 3D printer, zip tie walk through thing, legos big and small, play kitchen and market, art area, wind tube thing, car track, interactive stuff, huge light brite room, construction area, dolls, stuffed animals, slides, musical instruments, and tons of outside stuff and playgrounds. It was to cold for outside stuff but in the summer it'll be awesome. Looking forward to the duck pond trail. It's really a great place for kids. I gave five stars because of how much my kids enjoyed it and that's priceless. I did however have a few concerns. That many kids in one space is concerning because of flu, covid, strep, RSV and just plain colds. We were there a long time and I didn't see anyone wiping down toys or surfaces. They did have hand sanitizer stations which I used a number of times. As a parent it's just a concern I had. I know the logistics are tough but cleaning is essential. That being said my kids were beyond happy. Twelve dollars to get in is very reasonable in todays market. If you have young kids with a ton of energy this is the place. I highly recommend a visit to Muse. Bring some patience though because there will be a wait and toddlers are everywhere. Enjoy...
Read moreThe Muse of Knoxville is an absolute gem for families with young children! We recently spent a full day here with our kids, ages 3 and 7, and they had the time of their lives. This place is a perfect blend of science, play, and creativity, making it an ideal destination for kids aged 3-10.
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the welcoming and vibrant environment. The museum is thoughtfully designed to engage children in hands-on learning experiences that are both fun and educational. Our kids were completely captivated by the interactive exhibits, and we loved how each one sparked their curiosity about the world around them.
The science exhibits are particularly impressive, with a great balance of activities that cater to a wide range of interests. Whether it was exploring the wonders of space, experimenting with physics in the water play area, or creating art in the craft zone, there was never a dull moment. The exhibits are perfectly scaled for little hands and minds, making learning feel like play.
We also appreciated the clean and well-maintained facilities, which made for a comfortable visit. There’s plenty of space for kids to run, explore, and let their imaginations soar, while parents can relax knowing that their children are in a safe and stimulating environment.
Overall, The Muse of Knoxville is a fantastic place to take your kids for a day filled with discovery, play, and learning. Whether you’re local or just visiting, it’s a must-see attraction that offers something special for every young explorer. We can’t wait...
